Idol isn't a singing competition. It's first and foremost a reality show.
Adam Lambert seems very full of himself. His voice isn't bad, but I think his mugging for the cameras will be his downfall. He's doing everything he can to be famous. Gay or straight, it will be his downfall. The dude has no potential as a rock star. He's kind of like Jesse the Mtv VJ. Lambert will be on a "where are they now?" vh1 special by 2011 at the latest. I think Rob is only pissed when Adam is being elevated to some kind of a "legend status". I mean, he's been compared to incomparable and irreplaceable legends: Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Freddie Mercury, Steven Tyler, & even Elvis Presley. It might mean the world to most of you fans out there but to professional artists/musicians, comparisons like that is a travesty. They find it insulting because a real artist won't even consider joining a crap singing contest to begin with.
