      I'm amazed that such a sweet, humble guy draws such harsh opinions. I adore his voice and love who he is maybe a little more.

      To those who are somehow offended that he has covered Vanessa Carlton's song and want to point out that her original is superior, David would probably say the same thing. He covers the song because HE loves it. Some of his young fans may have not heard VCs version.

      I'll add that Zero Gravity is a great song, too — more fun to see him perform live than hear recorded, but the recording is quite catchy.

      I have nothing aganist David, i think he is a sweet guy and all … but i just dont get the whole fascination with him. He is not great. I just dont get it. The original of this song was and is way better. He sounds like.. i dont know what he sounds like but its missing something.

      Archie possesses a smooth, soaring angelic voice and he is a sweet, cute boy with a ♫musical♫ soul… need more?
      By the way, there is no evidence that he is gay. His own words indicate that he understands himself to have a straight identity. When he was interviewed by FOX and asked whether he had a girlfriend, he smiled toward the young teen girls in the audience and said ‘not yet’ and then explained that he was extremely occupied with his musical career at that point but when he was ‘ready’ he might pursue dating.

      This would be in keeping with his Mormon culture, which discourages dating in pairs until one is older. Besides, he is a sweet innocent boy, sheltered, so shy, very much involved with his music. His friends call him a music nerd. I think all this together is the reason he didn´t get involved affectively yet, which by all means do not make him a gay guy, and how could we know? He has no sex life and has never even kissed anybody, girl or guy! Leave the boy alone, give him time and space to flourish! Maybe he even discover himself as a gay guy… it would be a great acquisition for the gay community!

      For now, you can celebrate the awesomeness of Dark Lord Screamanova, the fabulous Adam Glambert, representing.

      All you haters might be interested to know that David performed at the Children Uniting Nations Gala in Washington D.C. and received two standing ovations and tears from a room full of adults. Not too many artists can boast of that achievement, and certainly not many 18-year-olds.
