Poland Hates On Madge

You can't please everyone.
Madonna is slated to perform in Poland on August 15th, but the Catholic community there is screaming, "Ah, Hell NO!"
The date happens to be the same as the Assumption of Mary feast, a celebration of the holy Madonna.
Members of the Catholic community are reaching out to the government to cancel the concert, but as of yet, not plans have been made to do so. Therefore, a committee is already in development to stage a massive protest outside the concert in an effort to "stifle" the performance.
Did they ever stop to think that maybe the Virgin Mary is a fan and would like some kick-ass music played on her special day?

Poland is also a highly homophobic country, with numerous Polish gay people emigrating throughout the rest of the EU, particularly to the United Kingdom. I think this clearly has something to do with it as well. The church is still really screwy in Poland.

Imagine the attacks we'd come under if the same show was performed, instead using images of Allah on an Islamic religious holiday? This Polish American is not a fan either, but I just choose not to go to her concerts or buy her music.
I am Catholic. I enjoyed Madonna´s show very much when I saw it in Houston. Recreational concerts have nothing to do with religious holidays. If I want to attend Holy Mass on a Sunday and go to a Madonna concert that same evening, it´s ok. It´s shameful when some ultraconservatives start speaking for all of us. Shame on you, Poland.

She's had protesters in Italy, America, South America, you name it. It only adds fuel to the fire that is Madonna. She's a star and everyone knows it. They are just incredibly jealous.
