Farrah Fawcett Remains Stable

Despite ceasing treatment for her anal cancer a month ago, Farrah Fawcett's condition is "stable" and she "remains under treatment by her doctor," according to longtime companion Ryan O’Neal.
Against all odds, family and friends remain optimistic, praying for a miracle.

I'm glad that she's hanging in there. Cancer is a horrible thing. Her family and friends need to be very supportive of her right now, which I'm sure they are. Staying optimistic can make such a huge difference.

She has a feeding tube and morphine drip. Guess that is still stable. She can't eat or do anything. No more treatment doesn't mean she will get better, it means she hasn't died yet. It is very sad and I hope the stories stop. Stable doesn't mean she is dancing.

It's already a miracle that she has been her this long. I'm very glad and I'm praying for her.

she continues taking up space and using oxygen and contributing NOTHING at all. Narcissistic lower life form. That "documentary" was an embarrassment. Look at Paul Newman; he had cancer and didn't take a single picture of it, simply went away and died quietly, and he was actually DOING SOMETHING for millions of people. All Farrah did was whine that no one was researching her particular kind of cancer. Shameful. Really shameful. And yet people call her a role model. That's not a positive example. She didn't reach out to any other cancer patients, just flew around and prayed and whined. She didn't even contribute good spawn. What did she do with the money from the documentary? Found a school in Haiti? Feed homeless people in New Orleans? Yeah sure. She's been alive long enough. wait no, too long. The fact that she won't kill herself is proof enough that she is selfish and idiotic.

She should be taking 4 tablespoons of pureed, cooked asparagus twice a day. Asparagus has a substance that, in line with current research findings on reduction and shrinking of cancer tumors, prevents abnormal cells from CLUMPING TOGETHER to form a tumor. As you may know, everyone, yes, EVERYONE, has cancer cells in their body. It is when they clump together and form a tumor is when the trouble starts. Otherwise, the abnormal cells die and are eliminated from the body. This is the basis of the NEW research findings resulting in cancer cures. Somebody get this information to her.
If she cannot tolerate 4 tablespoons twice a day, she should at least take 2 tablespoons twice a day. She can dissolve it in a few ounces of water if she wishes.
Even in the best of health, one thing Farrah never was is stable.

I am sorry about her struggle but I cannot help but to comment on her nose. WTF?
I lost my mom to breast cancer in 1994… she was 46 I was 23! I would give anything for her family not to go through this shit! You never get over it (the loss), but you have to move on with your life! Bless all of you that have to go through this!
Re: Emmie859 – You are 100% correct about using asparagus to treat anal cancer. An even more effective delivery method for her would be for her to actually insert a small bunch of asparagus directly into her anus every time she moves her bowels. She would be cancer free within weeks if she were to use this treatment.
Sadly, her nose appears this way due to countless procedures of rhinoplasty. (Like Michael Jackson - never quite getting it right)… My heart truly goes out to her. She does have anal cancer. Perez (or whomever his ghost writer is) isn't being vindictive when he refers to her demise as anal cancer. That's the correct name of her disease. "Butt cancer" sounds worse. It is what it is: anal cancer.
PS - Touche to the commenters touting asparagus for cancer preventatives. You're absolutely right.

Doesn't anyone realize that if she had been willing to have a colostomy and had not delayed so long in getting any sort of chemo that would lead her to lose her hair, she probably wouldn't be dying.
