What's wrong with the Republican Party?

Apparently a lot, if Republicans are are unhappy with their own party!

According to a new poll, almost 4 out of 10, about 38% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents have "an unfavorable opinion of their own party."

In comparison, only 7% of Democrats have an unfavorable opinion of their party.

As for the American public, 53% of them have a favorable opinion of the Democratic Party as compared to just 34% who favor the Republicans.

It's a sign that the times are changing.

an old saying. If you're 21 and not voting democrat, you don't have a heart. If you're 31 and not voting republican, you don't have a brain.

Liberals clinically mad, concludes top psychiatrist
Eminent doctor makes case leftist ideology is a mental disorder

WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

How wonderful that the mood of the country is changing. Now we'll have a bunch of government dependents who can't do for themselves. We've already got a president who has made us look weak all over the world. I LOVE working 60 hours a week and having a third of my paycheck support those who are physically capable of working, yet too lazy to do so. I have to admit that I'm moderate on most issues but this whole "blame the Republicans" excuse is BS. We now have Democrats in control and more companies have gone under, the government is now running major industries and people are losing their jobs, homes, savings, etc. with no clear plan in place. Way to go Democrats!!!

Re: Tate08 – That's interesting considering that more Republicans have college degrees than Democrats. The hillbillies you think of are the extreme. They just hate everyone for no reason. Most businesses that give people like you jobs, insurance, etc. are run by Republicans. Let's destroy the big mean business who supports you and your community.

The sooner the GOP finally allows Ron Paul to lead them out of the friggin' wilderness the better…the problem with the GOP is there are too many chiefs and not enough indians. They all want to be the leader but they are all part of the reason the car is in the ditch to begin with.

Conservatives will be back. Look what is happening all over Europe. Conservatives are winning all over.
I would rather question my party when I am unhappy with it than be a BLIND DEMOCRAT / LIBERAL who is drinking the BS without a thought.
