The recently-dethroned Carrie Prejean was supposed to volunteer at the Special Olympics on Saturday, but we've just found out that the former beauty queen has cancelled!!
Prejean's Miss California USA replacement, Tami Farrell, will be attending the event, and Carrie wanted to avoid an "uncomfortable" situation between herself and the Miss California reps.

It's highly doubtful that she canceled her appearance. It's more like she was replaced, and was probably told by charity officials that she wasn't welcome or needed. Even if she did show up, it probably would have turned the Special Olympics into a media circus, or she would have been treated like a pariah there. It was probably in EVERYONE'S best interest that she didn't show. BTW, Tami Farrell also doesn't believe in gay marriages.
