Letterman Vs Palin Continues: Dave Loses An Advertiser!

This is getting kind of old now. But some people just don't know how to quit.
Because of David Letterman's comments last week about Sarah Palin and her daughter, CBS will be losing an advertiser, though not an advertiser that aired during Letterman.
Embassy Suites, part of the Hilton Hotels Corp., pulled advertising on from the entire CBS site because of patron complaints. Must be a lot of Embassy Igloos Suites in Alaska.
A rep for the company stated:
"We received lots of e-mails from concerned guests and we assessed that the statement that he made was offensive enough to our guests and prospective guests that we elected to take the ads down."
Oh please!
And it goes on as there is actually a group organized to have Letterman fired. They call themselves the "Fire David Letterman" campaign.

Palin is a woman who I admire greatly. She was a mom in a small town and was not happy with the way her local governemnt was being run, so she ran for office. Through the years, she advanced politically and eventually became governor of Alaska. I believe many people do not like her becasue people like Mario and MSNBC commentators have told them not to. I do not agree with all of her stances, but she is not stupid. I am a mother and agree with her that our society is digressing and that our government is taking too big of a role in our lives.
