I was expecting the worst, but it's actually not that bad of a song. It's a lot more aggressive than the cutesy, girly stuff she normally does. Who cares if she's photoshopped? Who isn't these days? You'd talk about her even worse if she was all natural on the cover. And why would she want to go back to the 90s? Back then she was competing with people like Celine Dion and Michael Bolton. Celine's still doing power ballads, but hasn't had a memorable hit in years. Personally, I'd like to see Mariah step out of the box and do something remotely different (like a dance album or an all covers album of old school R&B), but hey, she's still doing her thing after 20 years, and even her biggest flops have done better than others' flops.
