Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

I felt like I was watching Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Um - I haven't had a change to listen to it yet, BUT… I don't think it's going to be a 'Spanish' album. She is Portuguese. Once I listen I can compare as I am half Portuguese which makes me LOVE Nelly even more

Nelly is overrated. Wayyyyyy overrated. But then, considering what they call music that comes out these days, I guess she's "good." I just have to keep reminding me that the 60's and 70's when the majority of music was actually good is long gone and never to return. There are only a few artists of today who can match the quality of what was coming out in that period.
I'm just glad the damn thing was SHORT. Whew, I was about to exit the page.
