Britney Spears just had an Oops moment.
While performing tonight in Manchester at the M.E.N. Arena on Wednesday, BritBrit accidentally gave a shout out to the wrong city. Turns out she said, "How you doing LONDON?!"
And despite a few boos and awkward laughter from the audience, the 27-year-old continued with her performance.
Let's hope she gets the city right next time!
Doesn't she have personal assistants to remind her of that sort of thing?

Her tour is the HIGHEST GROSSING TOUR OF 2009. Its a huge success and she is having a BLAST on tour. She's been beaming in her recent photos, and thats because the tour brought life back into her. I'm sure that you think she doesn't want to be there, but when I see her smiling during an ENTIRE CONCERT, it shows that she wants to be there

When I was at the "High School Musical" concert with my lil sis they shouted "HELLO SAN DIEGO" at the top of their lungs. I live in San Francisco. Literally, the entire arena was silent!

i was there and she first said "hello manchester" then "wassup london" later in the show and finished with "thank you manchester!" It was like she did it for a dare, she probably gets bored and thinks it's funny that people think she's crazy. it was an AMEZZIN show

I was there and didn't notice any boos. From where I was sat, I could just hear people cheer when she called us London.
I doubt anyone would really give a fuck. We were there to enjoy a good show, not to judge her grasp on geography.
This happens all the time with artists at concerts. A little embarrasing, yes.
Awww, never mind. Maybe she could pre-record where she is each night, and then she could lip synch it? Would match the rest of her "live tour then.

lol, i remember when Rihanna did that at her concert with Chris Brown in Wellington (nz). She was like "How ya'll doing Auckland?!" and no1 boo'd, we were just like *awkward silence/cricket noises* "Wellington"… She saved herself pretty awesomely by assuming we thought we were better that Auckland and saying "Auckland SUCKS!"… *everyone cheers insanely*… not only did she do a great job of covering it up by making it sound a little like she was kidding but she won more "hearts" (or egos). Thats how a pro does it

she didn't sing the song 'everytime' live…she talked before she started the song so it seems as if she is about to sing it live but she didn't. have a look on youtube when she actually did that same song live about 3 years ago and you will hear the difference. Britney is not the greatest singer but she puts on an amazing show. She is a great ringleader and the sold-out arenas prove that people don't care about the miming. And shouting out the wrong city….come on who cares she was in london all week and performed their several times. She must have just adapted the habit of saying london big deal…

I went to see her for thee first time ever on wednesdaay and eventhough she said the wrong city it was the best day of my life as i went to a fashion show befor hand so it was soooo good. i was a dit devoed though wen ciara wasnt there

I think she is singing "every time" live, in Dublin last night she deffo was …because it sounded more natural and you could hear her taking breaks to breathe …cut her some slack ..i don't really think you can judge her performance until you actually go see her! She sold out The o2 in London, 8 dates and sold out the o2 in Dublin with 2 dates …clearly people still love her and its receiving great reviews from the press here in Ireland!
