Joe Jonas Speaks About Taylor Swift-Inspired Song

If you are a Jonas Brother's fan, you've listened to Much Better, a song off the boys new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
And so you are also aware, since we reported it earlier, that that very song makes a little dig at the performer of Tear Drops On My Guitar and Joe Jonas' ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Of course, everyone has just been speculating that the song was inspired by the country princess and as far as Joe is concerned, we can all keep guessing.
Because he ain't confirming shiz!
In a recent interview, Joe was asked about the song and the inspiration behind it. He replied, "We went through a lot in the past year and a half, all of us. And you're just going to have to get the record and figure it out for yourself."
Way to side-step and plug your album all in one breath, Joe!
We really don't need him to confirm the influence Taylor had on the song. The lyrics are proof enough: "And all the tears on her guitar, I'm not bitter. But now I see, Everything I'd ever need, Is the girl in front of me, She's much better."
But you should own up to it, Joe. She did when she released Forever & Always.
P.S. We love that all the young artists are providing their own soundtracks to their relationships. It's just adorable!

He has more class than Miss Trailer Shit, but he's still a songwriter, just like she is, so I'm sure she understands the need to express your feelings through your music. good for him for not sinking so low as to actually say its about someone and trying to humiliat and degrade them like she did. I love her but she wanted everyone to know it was about him and bury him in shame, but obviously it didnt work because they have a sold out tour, more fans than they did and a wonderful CD, so he didnt lose any sleep over it and most fans stuck by!

No matter what, Taylor Swift is far, FAR less interesting and entertaining to me than the Jonas Brothers, musically& personally. I don't get the big deal about her. I know America loves her, but I don't know anyone who thinks she's any good, let alone more talented than the Jonases. Her career is based on her cute personality and Barbie looks…my money is on Miley for longevity (and I'm not even a Miley fan).
Re: Moimeme – naah. musically she is far more advanced; songwriting ability and musicality. i am not saying she is the most special person in the world but she definitely has a knack for writing. i can understand if her style isn't your thing but she is the 'flashy, out-to-top-everyone' type. she's more of the girl-next-door. nothing extraordinary but thats what people end up loving about her.
Re: the business – I agree she is a better writer…but holistically, her package is superficial. Her personality is great, but I can't stand her wispy thin voice. I'd rather listen to Miley - even when she's grating, she has a resonance there. I don't see Swift's voice getting any richer.

Re: Moimeme – like i said, people like the pleasantry of her voice. its not overpowering but good enough enough for the songs she writes. and i guess the difference between you and most people is that they don't see her as superficial; what you see, is what you get. she didn't claim to be some superstar. she writes and sings music - people like what she does. like i said, its not just about the voice for some people. its about the music - and album sales suggest people really like her music.
even though in my opinion she has improved greatly over the years and in concert was much more commanding then i last remember her. but that's just me.
