Police Try To Scam Sarah Jessica Parker

Sources are saying that a pair of chief police officers in Ohio were planning a severe criminal act, rather than stopping one.
The duo, Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport Police Dept. Chief Chad DoJack were allegedly planning on breaking into the home of Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate mother, in order to gain information marketable for the tabloids.
Shocking!
Though the plans never went through, the authorities have seized several computers as evidence. It was believed that the men were after photographs displaying the living conditions of the home.
As of now, only one of the two officers has released a statement. Police Chief Barry Carpenter said: "I'm 100% innocent in this and my department is as well."
People can be so ruthless! We're glad it will get sorted out before any real damage was done!

This is not surprising at all as almost all cops are the lowest level of life individuals. Who are the worst drivers? Cops. Who are the ones who commit the most abuse? Cops. Who are the ones who traffic the most drugs? Cops. They think they are all powerful, but really they are low paid, blue collar servants. There won't be a proper investigation because they're cops, but if it was anyone else, they'd be in shit. F*@K THE POLICE

This is such a proud moment for my little city. Not only has a private citizen been chased away by tabloids, but now my police chief is accused of being involved in tormenting her. Bonus, the (financally broke!) city may now be wide open to civil lawsuits.
Dojack and Carpenter have history–Dojack used to be a Martins Ferry police officer before becoming chief of Bridgeport police.
The rumors are flying that Dojack has relatives that own/operate a local motel where the tabloid reporter was staying, and that's how this whole mess got started.

Oh, but the big guns have been called in. Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is handling the investigation and a special prosecutor from a different county is overseeing it. Conflict of interest, and all that.

Yeah - I grew up in MARTINS FERRY and it is a SHITBAG CITY. Not surprised at all. I actually know of one of the officers. F'n winner, than one! I still CANNOT believe that SJP is dealing with a surrogate from there!!! It used to be a nice small Steel/Coal Mining city, but now it's a broke, sorry little town with one stop-light (they might have 2 now). This is just bad business. SJP must've gotten the crappy-town discount. Horrible!! You'd think she would put her babies (and surrogate) up in a better living area.

And, the Bridgeport and Martin's Ferry police forces are nothing but a joke.
I live in Bridgeport - Dojack is a serious asshole. I don't know how much 'investigation' was done, but Dojack is the Mayor of Bridgeport's son-in-law. He was an asshole cop, he's an asshole C.O.P.
As for Barry Carpenter, I went to school with him and always thought of him being a nice guy, but I can totally see Dojack coming up with this idea, and talking Carpenter into it.
Life in a small town when ain't much crime… they need to find something to do! I remember once coming home and Dojack, when he was still a plain ol' cop, stopping me for running a stop sign. Only problem is that there isn't one where he said I ran it, and I've lived in this neighborhood since the 70s - he thought I was drunk since I was coming in at 2am, and he thought he'd see if he could write me a ticket or get an arrest. But I hadn't even been drinking that evening, and when he said "You ran a stop sign" I calmly said "No I didn't." He replied "Yes, you did," and I said "No, I didn't. I stopped at the one sign on my route long enough to see you doing a U-turn in the middle of the street, but I didn't run any sign." He then tells me "Well just be careful next time"…. asshole.
