Los Angeles judge Patricia Schnegg decided against allowing cameras into the courtroom.
Good for her!!!
Brown entered a "not guilty" plea for assault and making criminal threats stemming from a February argument with then girlfriend Rihanna.
If he reaches a plea agreement, Monday's hearing would not be necessary!!!
We all know he did it, right???!!!
If convicted for assault and making criminal threats, he could be sentenced to anywhere from probation to four years in prison.

thought i read some "heartfelt statement" when this happened about how he was seeking counseling, support from his pastor, etc. If he wants ANY forgiveness, respect, closure, he needed to step up, admit what he did and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY like a man. This shows he's not sorry and he WILL do it again. I hope Rihanna gives the court every last detail. Too bad even if he's proven guilty he won't get even a day of jail time. What a fucked up system.

As a first time offender with very good lawyers it is extremely unlikely that he will receive anything other than probation because that is what most first time offenders receive. Hopefully they won't want to make an example of him and give him a more severe punishment just because he is a celebrity and because this case received a lot of publicity. Not saying it's right, just saying that's what most first time offenders receive.

I was wondering if he is driving and she attacks him should they both lose their lives? What would have happened if he hit someone bcause she was fighting him. I hate one sided stories. If she had pulled out an knife would he be justified that he threatened her? If you can work 6 days a week and pull 100K, you can most certainly pull a Hollywood gig. Canada is more wired (internet) per capita than south of the 49th, and they have CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC and FOX along with the saner Canadian stations and BBC. You really would have to turn everything off to really get away.
