Dancing Beauty Chosen To Be Footloose

It has been confirmed that the lucky leading lady to dance alongside Chace Crawford in the remake of Footloose will be Julianne Hough, provided that the scheduling can be worked out.
The Dancing With The Stars beauty will be making her movie debut with the flick, that is described as a more mature and modern version of the 1984 Kevin Bacon classic.
We think it's a good choice and hope it goes through.

NOOOOOOO …. Not to sound mean but Julianne is too good looking for this role. Jennifer Gray was perfect because she wasn't your typical barbie doll looking girl and more girls could relate to her..NOT A GOOD MOVE HERE AT ALL!!

She has such a vibrant energy about her. Chance Crawford and her both have a little country in them. Even if it is just for publicity that would be a cute couple.

the remake is slated to full of eye candy obviously. Chase is WAY better looking than Kevin Skankin. Julianne is flawless and I can't wait to see them together! Bravo on the casting selections.

Well not happy about the remake, but I think Julliane was the perfect choice for this. At least she has dancing experience. I hope we get to see her do something crazy….or it would be such a waste.
In the 80s I really hated that movie, the footloose song and not to forget Kevin Bacon's laughable dancing. A ridiculos movie.

I'm not even going to read all of the posting. I said from day one she would be perfect! She can sing and dance and very well. I hope her brother Derek gets the other part. He already played it in London. Good luck Julianne! When DWTS comes on it's her and her brother, Mark Ballas, Tony, Markim and Edyta who can really dance. Cheryl and the rest are alright too. But Julianne is the bomb along with Ballas and her brother. I love movies with dance. I hope this is good!
