I love that family. I've watched them since the first episode of the first season, so to see them so fast downhill is sad. I just wish them the best of luck in the near future and hope the kids still have a good life.
What is sad is that Kate is unwilling to put the show aside to try and work things out with her husband. Maybe if they went on hiatus for awhile, got some privacy and some councelling, they could fix their family. But obivously Kate is not thinking right if she thinks that the most important thing for her kids is to keep the show going to make more money. If they were smart, they would have already put lots of money aside for their kids futures and could now do the right thing and walk away from the show to keep their family together.

note that the 4 wheeler is probably an electric shift model before you start saying something about her legs not being long enough to shift the gears. u don't need legs anymore to drive a 4 wheeler its all done on the handle bars. which makes it even worse for jon to let her play on it. that being said, i would never let my child play on my 4 wheeler nor let my children have to be a part of the mess the Gosselins are in. kate has to be controlling-with 8 kids, someone needs to have their head on straight and not off in la-la land like jon always is. he always looks like he is spaced out. i wouls like to see how anyone runs a house with 8 kids and not have to have control over them. with 2-3 kids schedules aren't necessary, but the more you add, the more you have to plan your time and everything you do to make sure everything is done.

Jon LEFT THE KIDS AT THE HOUSE and went to the road to sign autographs for WOMEN and told Radaronline that he did not know where Kate is and that HE lives in the house WITH HIS CHILDREN. I'm sure he loves all his children, but I don't think he finds much joy in parenthood - I imagine a lot of parents feel the same way, but feel as though they can't say it out loud.

I think Kate's behavior drove Jon to do whatever he's done. I think they are both good parents, but Kate's need to control everything in essence, tore apart her family. Plane and simple. And Im with Jon, when he said, "I didnt choose to leave my job and be a stay at home dad. Even though that is a nice luxury to be able to stay home with my family, I didnt get to choose it. It was chosen for me." Some people LIKE to leave home for work to have that feeling like they are supporting their family. Thats what Jon wants….but thats not what Kate wants. It all to me….seems to be about what Kate wants. What about what Jon wants? What about what the kids want? I have watched the show since the beggining and have their 1st book and Im just disapointed that Kate (I feel) let it get to this. But what do I know…TEAM JON.
P.S.~ Also, there was an episode where they were answering viewers questions and one of the questions was "How come we never see the kids with their grandparents?" Jons family is kinda scattered, some in Hawaii. And Kate said something like, "As far as my parents are concerned….ya know sometimes grandparents arent always that involved and so they just arent right now". I may have missed a few words, but it was something along those lines. Its my oppinion that Kate's parents aren't around cause they dont agree with her money-grubbing attention-spotlight seeking ways and cause she's pimping out her kids and allowing them to loose their privacy. Just my oppinion though.
