Nip/Tuck Is Over/Out
FX's Nip/Tuck has been cancelled.
Tears!
The last episode, which will also be the series 100th episode, wrapped on June 12th - but don't expect to be seeing the finale anytime soon.
It won't be airing until 2011!!
Cast and crew have been left with an unsettling feeling regarding the completion of the series - mainly because most of the crew followed creator Ryan Murphy over to Fox for Glee.
Turns out Murphy wasn't even present for the filming of the last ep!
"It's sad because it feels incomplete," Diana Valentine, a script supervisor for Nip/Tuck lamented to reporters about the finale. "It feels incomplete, kind of separate. It's very hard."
Although difficult, most agreed that it was time for the record-breaking show to end.
"I feel we've reached a creative impasse with regards to what we can do with this story," Nip/Tuck actor John Hensley (who played Matt) reveals.
He continues: "I just feel that we were a show that was very good and innovative at one point and we've gone the way of so many shows before us. Our moment has passed."

DOES ANYONE READ THESE DAMN COMMENTS! WHAT PEREZ FAILS TO INFORM ABOUT THE SITUATION IS THAT NIP/TUCK RETURNS IN JANUARY 2010 FOR SEASON 6 PART 1. PART 2 OF SEASON 6 AIRS IN JANUARY 2011. THIS IS NOT NEW NEWS AT ALL SINCE THEY HAD ANNOUNCED THIS BACK DURING SEASON 4 THAT SEASON 6 WOULD BE THEIR LAST! SO STOP FREAKING OUT THINKING YOU HAVE TO WAIT 2 YEARS FOR NEW EPISODES AS THEY WILL START AIRING IN LIKE 6 MONTHS! LOL
It's sad that this show is over after having had such promise. "The Carver" storyline was the best ever, but it jumped the shark after that. Seasons 1-3 were awesome. After that, eecchh.
Heck yea. I am so sad. Why? One of the few show on TV worth watching.
This is not news. They announced last year that they would only do one more season.
Kind of like Lost - FYI people, only one season left, on purpose. NOT b/c of ratings - to keep the story strong and not let it peter out.
It's a crazy show, still new for me somehow I'm catching the re-runs!

I could watch Julian McMahon read a book and it would be entertaining. I'm so sad.
