Vampire lovers unite as the an epic pairing has finally been mashed together. Watch as Twilight's Edward Cullen (played by the yummy Robert Pattinson) meets his match: Buffy The Vampire Slayer (played by the preggers Sarah Michelle Gellar) above.

We think it's pretty funny.

I think the video itself was quite brilliant. The cutting was perfection, but the only issue I had with it was when Buffy staked Edward, in cannon, not even the Buffster couldn't do that. He's like freaking diamond.

I don't have anything against buffy, and i'm definitely not a robert pattinson fan, but god, this thing's killing me, literally. Poor pattinson. Edward sticks to Bella. Deal with it. Edward falling for cheerleaders? Not happening. And freaking hell, vampire can't get staked. Not in the Twilight realm.

Ugh! As a die hard Buffier/twi-hard fanpire (aren't you crushing on my usage?!) I couldn't take the huge smile off of my face throughout the entire video. pure greatness. Thank you Perez! Oh, no. I just realized I'm a vampire person! I was obsessed with Buffy back in the day, and now I'm all twilight-ey. I'm one of THOSE people!

This is a brilliant commentary on how the media/etc. treats the kind of behavior Edward Cullen and characters of the like exhibit as "romantic", because it is anything BUT. The person who made this video didn't have Buffy kill Edward to piss off Twilight fans; he had Buffy kill Edward because had her character run across his, killing him is exactly what she would have done. And rightly so!

A few months ago, I had actually watched the episode where Buffy says, "You know, being stalked isn't a big turn on for a girl." I indeed found myself mumbling, "Buffy Summers, meet Bella Swan…"
