Ah, c'mon Christian Bale! Don't hang up those tights just yet!
While out promoting his newest flick, Public Enemies (featuring Johnny Depp- def. checking this one out), Christian was asked about the future of the Caped Crusader.
His answer isn't great: "I really cannot tell you if there will ever be another Batman movie. Chris [Nolan, director] has obviously done an incredible job with it. He's devoted to the movie that he's on right now. I'm none the wiser about we'll ever be revisiting Gotham or not."
It's isn't a no, but it doesn't sound like a yes either.
Eh, when the well of cash starts to dry up from The Dark Knight, they'll get right on another flick.

I liked Keaton as Batman. I just don't like Christian Bale though. No particular reason other than he just grates on my nerves.
Leonard Jacobs, editor of The Clyde Fitch Report, an arts and politics blog, said any racial or sexual slur is offensive, but questioned Hilton's standing within the gay and lesbian community.
"Not only is he not helping the gay cause in any way, more pertinent is he's not helping his own cause any either," Jacobs told FOXNews.com. "By doing it, he essentially dissipates whatever credibility he might have had not only as a media figure, but as an openly gay man."
Jacobs, who is also openly gay, said he never considered Hilton a spokesman for gay rights. If given the chance, Jacobs would suggest that Hilton stick to "doing gossip," he said.
"Did it offend me? I don't really care what Perez Hilton says or thinks," Jacobs said. "He's the celebrity version of a heroin addict."

"The Dark Knight" for all intents and purposes, is a masterpiece. It will be absolutely impossible to meet or beat the expectations that the sequel will have. Then it'll "disappoint" and the franchise will die off on it's own, until someone decides to reboot and start the cycle again.
Let the franchise go out on top. Lest we want "Spider-Man 3" to happen again, this time with the Caped Crusader.

Nothing has been confirmed. Nolan hasn't said whether he wants to do another Batman film but the studios have already asked umpteen times for another one. And we all know how much Bale loves winding up the press. When a movie makes $1 bn, you kind of have to say they were pretty stupid not to expect demand. In my opinion, they've set themselves up to fail with a third one. I don't really care if there isn't a third film, it will still be the best reinvention of a movie franchise…until JJ Abrams' Star Trek 2…
