Introducing: Twilight Barbie Dolls!

The folks over at Mattel are not stupid. They understand how to live by the motto : "If you make it, people will buy it."

We can already hear the clamor of girls running to their computers so they can get their hands on their very own Edward Cullen Barbie.

Oh yes! You read right!

Mattel is releasing the likenesses of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in their Twilight character form coming this October.

Intended for ages 6-7 (you may calculate that in dog years if it helps you sleep at night), the dolls will be sold through Toys R Us, which reports the new Edward Cullen Ken Doll to come complete with “shimmering complexion” and “trademark gold eyes.”

This is a little…much, we think.

No, we take it back. If after this they come out with the Cullen Dream House, and Bella's Chevy Truck, then it's too much.

Right now it's just kind of sad.

Will U be pre-ordering your own mini-Edward, Twi-hards?

i went to books-a-million to get my books for summer reading. THE EDWARD BARBIE DOLL WAS THERE. my goodness. what is this world coming to when edward barbies are being sold at BOOK STORES?!

  4. 104

ohhhh my god. all this bullshit is ruining the books. fucking stupid people, i swear.

  5. 105

    OH MY GOSH. okay, if people are really obsessed with Twilight that much that they would buy these things, really, they probably also go and jack off to the movie somewhere at random periods of times. i sound like a bitch, but i mean seriously, grow up por favor. on the positive side, i got a laugh. (;

  6. 106

This is insane and going way too far. There is no way I would buy one.

  7. 107

  8. 108

  9. 109

Hell mother fucking no! I will not be pre- ordering that bullshit . Who ever buys that shit is lame and needs to get a life seriously.

  10. 110

    hell yes

  11. 111

    a bit late perez
they have been out in aus for like the whole year
    lol

  12. 112

So, I love Twilight, especially Robert Pattinson, but this is a little much. And Perez, I would not be surprised if they do come out with a "Cullen Dream House" and "Bella's Chevy Truck."
Anyway, the Edward doll would not do justice to Robert's real, sexy looks. Nobody can duplicate perfection.

  13. 113

Bella is supposed to be ugly, and they don't make ugly barbies. This doesn't work. I love twilight, but Mattel, stay out of this.

  14. 114

Um, BARBIE DOLLS? What's next? A Jacob Black werewolf stuffed-animal…Mattel is giving Twilight a bad name! But, I MIGHT buy them…

  15. 115

    OMGZ I WANTS ITT!!

  16. 116

Im a huge fan of twilight but come on all of this is too far,
The people with all the twilight t-shirt and keyrings etc is too far aswell in my opinion.

  17. 117

Haha, like 6-7 year-olds have read the books or seen the movie. It´s hilarious. It´s really smart though… cuz the extreme twilighters will buy ´em for sure just because… sad says I. I love Twilight, but I sure as hell won´t buy ´em…. *yawn*
