MTV fired an additional 75 people on Tuesday.

This comes on the heels of massive layoffs in the company over the past 12 months.

Major bummer!

      MTV has sucked for at least 10 years now.

      Hopefully this is the beginning to the end of MTV. It was good back in the day but now it's pure crap. Good riddance MTV!

      MTV f%^kin sucks, I would never work for them unless they played more music videos, good ones.

      Its a piece of shit station now anyway….they show nothing but crap. If the recession rids cable of MTV, wouldn't hurt my feelings. There was a time when it was relevant….now its a breeding ground for bad reality shows.

      Maybe if they had a great award show like the MMVAs they'd get more viewers and advertisers.

      maybe they'd make more money and wouldn't have to lay people off if they played more music videos……i thought MTV stood for music television……wonder if they fired Kim, the girl from top model…….

      FUCK 'EM! MTV sucks. Nothing but garbage on that channel. The last time MTV was cool was somewhere in the mid 90's. As a matter of fact, that whole channel needs to be done away with so more airtime can be given to quality programs.

      Maybe if they went back the formtat of, you know, PLAYING MUSUC VIDEOS instead of crappy reality shows, viewership would return.

      "Major bummer"? It's the BEST news I have heard all day! MTV has sucked ass for WAY too long! It was a great network when they started and VERY successful, but they started playing primarily Britney Spears style pop crap, then the way over-done reality shows. It looks like a slow, painful death, but hopefully they will be put out of their misery (and ours) soon.

      And we care why???? MTV is nothing but a pile of garbage that makes stars out of worthless, undeserving cretins like Ceiling Eyes, Speidi, etc.
