The Heroes star has teamed up with The Whaleman Foundation and SocialVibe to inform the public about the dangers of this practice.
Animal rights activist Panettiere alongside the environmental activists hope to collect 1,000,000 signatures for the petition against commercial whaling to deliver in the hands of the International Whaling Commission!

It's very simple. Yes there are humans suffering around the world, and luckily there are millions of voices out there attempting to help those humans suffering. But the health of our oceans, which equals the health of the PLANET, depends on protecting the MAMMALS and other animals that live in it.
We can't live without healthy oceans. Simple fact. Whales don't have a voice and ANTIQUATED ideas are attempting to wipe them off the map. It's not about stopping indigenous people from subsistence fishing, it's about countries with fully functioning economies letting go of a practice that may be traditional but is no longer necessary. If you fucking people on this website would get your heads out of celebrities crotches maybe you would understand that everything on this planet is connected and that killing whales and endangered ocean mammals and fish is NOT GOOD for the health of this planet in the long run.
