Farrah Fawcett's Partner Releases Statement On Her Tragic Passing
Following the incredibly sad news of Farrah Fawcett's death in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, lifelong partner Ryan O'Neal has released the following statement:
"She's gone. She now belongs to the ages. She's now with he mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She's in a better place now."
O'Neal reveals that Farrah was surrounded by her many doctors and close friends when she passed away. He says, "She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn't say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."
Ryan says a funeral service will be held at the downtown Catholic cathedral in Los Angeles in the next few days.

I am deeply saddened! I was a 12 yo , snot-nose when CA premiered. It was a hasle trying to let my parents let me stay up until 9:00 to finish it..lol. I saw a couple of "momentoes" of vintage Farrah, on ebay..the seller UGOTTABIDDA ha two different auctions with cool reminders…tempted..
RIP! She is in the arms of the angels! May she find some comfort there. Prayers to her family. She will be missed.

In his only Oscar nominated role, Ryan O'Neal played a young husband whose beautiful young wife dies of cancer in the 1970 movie Love Story. The scene where his wife dies is a real tearjerker. So sad how his real life imitated that role!

Very sad, but she was not in pain and she was in constant care of the doctors all along the way. At least he was given the opportunity to say his goodbyes to her with her family… very sad, she was so young.
