Fawcett Hospitalized! Loved Ones Gather For Last Goodbyes

Farrah Fawcett may be on her last days, sadly.
Friends and family of the 70s icon have started to gather for their final farewells!!!
Fawcett was recently hospitalized and placed in the intensive care unit with devoted partner Ryan O' Neal constantly by her side!
Also at her bedside are Mela Murphy, Farrah's confidante and hairdresser for two decades and longtime friend Alana Stewart.
A priest was reportedly called in as Fawcett is a devout Catholic.
Hopefully, she will get to see her son as well!
Our thoughts are with them during this difficult time!!!!

She should had gone with conventional chemotherapy instead of running off to Germany to pursue alternative treatments that would spare her from loosing her hair.
I watched her documentary and she admitted to not wanting to loose her "trademark" lockes. That's just fucking dumb.

all gay people have a demon that needs removed. Can wait to watch them loose again in 2012.

First of all, Perex use a better picture of her.
Secondly, to FUGSMAGEE, if you has watched the TV Special, you would have known that going to Germany was what prolonged her life and was the only treatment that worked. Infact, it when she stopped going to Germany and relied upon a UCLA treatment for a time period was when the cancer came back to different parts of her liver. She went back to Germany where she found out but it was too late. She even said so herself, that the treatment in Germany should be approved here in the States, which is not.
lesson learned….DONT GET FUCKED UP THE BUTT PEOPLE!

The number one risk factor for developing anal cancer is exposure to HPV (Human Papillome Virus) through unprotected anl sex. Gay and bisexual men are 17 times more likely than hetero men to develop anal cancer. Please, if you're going to do the push in the tush, use a condom!
I think her documentary was fantastic and I thank her for allowing me/us to see what cancer looks like. However, that's what cancer looks like when you are rich and have money to try other avenues of remedy.
Im sure many of you can imagine or have experienced what its like when you have no money and have cancer…Especially in the US where people end up losing their homes and going into huge debt to try and pay for treatment…which in and of itself is criminal.
Farrah is a fighter…the only question I have is…what was her lifestyle like prior to cancer? Did she smoke, drink, do drugs, eat well, exercise? Cancer also ran in her family as her sister died a few years ago from the disease as well and I think the mother too.
Very sad…I wonder if she will marry before she passes.
I miss her already - she was a shining bright star. I heard she passed last night, with more details to come

I would have gone for the poop bag myself. She would be alive and well today. So it would have been a little inconvenient, but she may have lived a lot longer and not sufferred so much. I can't fault her for trying other alternatives, but those alternatives were only "hopeful" and not proven.

This is heart breaking. I wish she could overcome it but her chances look very grim at this point. Hope her son gets his act together and preserves farrah's legacy.

Very sad. A good friend of mine passed away last week from cancer. My prayers are with Farrah and her family/friends.
Who says she did NOT have conventional chemotherypy first? And the treatment she tried in Germany was maybe just something else she tried when being told that no therapy could help her anymore!
I ve not watched the documentary. But I know there are cases of cancer - and STAGES of cancer - where chemotherapy no longer is any option and will not help but kill the patient as his organs are no longer stron enough to cope with the side affects.
A friend of mine died in January of lung cancer during his 2nd chemotherapy!
And: In the very late stage of cancer chemotherapy is NOT used to "cure" the disease but to prolong life (if the patient WISHES so) and to diminish the rate of growth of the size of the cancer! She quite obviously has been in the LAST stages of cancer for years now, so maybe YOUR remark on her treatment in Germany was "dumb" and not SHE! I ms ure it was NOT about the HAIR she cared…
It isn't "goodbye" it's "see you later." Of course her friends and family will miss her until then. I've lost loved ones to cancer. It is a horrible way to die and it is a horrible loss to those who love them. Perhaps after years of suffering she can finally find relief from her pain. God bless…

I agree. Some people are so IGNORANT to think that there IS some cure for cancer at that late astage as she obviously was in already when she started treatment. I think, the treatment in Germany was the last thing she COULD try as an additional alternative when there was no other option left….and yes, it s sad, that only people with money (or in Germany: Everybody is OBLIGED to have full-coverage health insurance, if he can t afford it social welfare pays it in Germany! Althought he situation deteriorates there as well a bit since all those criminal and nonworking Muslim immigrants from Afghanistan, Turkey and Russian/Eastern block countries moved into the free German welfare and health care system, into which they pay NOTHING!)….

this is so sad. she has suffered so much with this illness. i hope she finds peace soon. she is a beautiful woman who was such a huge icon of my childhood. i hope poor ryan has lots of loved ones close by with him as he helps her find her way into her next spiritual journey.
and i hope that scumbag kid of their shapes the fuck up. i can't imagine how his behavior has added to her pain.

I agree, she should of chosen the poop bag. My cousin's family has colon cancer run in their family. It has gotten in every generation forever, as young as 6 years old. My one cousin had her kids at age 21 and then found out she had the cancer. At age 22 she got the poop bad and is still living at age 53. Because of the bag, she has enjoyed 3 grandbabies that she would of never seen. By the way, 6 weeks after the poop bag was attached, she went bowling. You can still live a great life. However, she did have a husband that was an alcoholic and he abused her and they ended up divorced. She is now a very happy person. God Bless Farrah's family.
I wanna know where the hell is Tatum O'neal I know her and Farrah didn't get along that well I hope she's paying her respects to farrah and Ryan.

I never really knew who she was until all the news came up about her being ill which was probably very ignorant of me but i hope she gets better.

Farrah Fawcett died about 40 minutes ago, at the age of 62. I am deeply saddened by this passing of a lovely woman. God bless her family, Ryan and Redmon, and may he hold our angel in his arms forever. Goodbye, friend.

Perez, come on. You could at least have shown her the respect she deserves and posted a flattering photo of her. A friend of mine is Farrah's cousin and the whole family is grieving and for you to post that photo is really shitty of you. Sometimes you just display insensitivity that is beyond words. No, you didn't deserve getting attacked but why not try showing some sensitivity where it's deserved and then maybe people won't hate you so much that they want to attack you? Something to think about. What if it was one of your loved ones dying?
