Transformers Breaks Bank And Box-Office Records
The new Shia LaDouche flick, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, has taken over the box office, grossing over $55 million in its first full day of release in the U.S., which garnered then the honor of the best opening day for a Wednesday release at the domestic box office.
Sorry Harry Potter (the former title holder)! Better luck next movie.
The opening day cash count in the U.S. includes the $16 million made in midnight runs. Again, it makes the flick the best run ever for a film released on a Wednesday and it' also the third-best of all time after The Dark Knight ($18.5 million) and Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith ($16.9 million).
We don't think it will, but we can't wait to see the weekend numbers and see if it beats out The Dark Night.

It is exactly what you expect, action, great special effects, and a robot war…I liked it because it was fast paced and it allows you to escape reality for a short while…and with all the crap going on around the world who couldn't use a brief escape???!!!

I saw it and it was absolute shit. My friend and me were trying not to laugh at the "tense" moments and afterwards i decided to put it on my list of "Top Three Shitty Films". It was three hours of my life i will never get back and i wish i had gone to see The Hangover instead!

I was in this movie, and I even will admit it was terrible… Bay ruined it, big time… the whole movie was just CGI explosions, and unless you grew up knowing all about transformers, it wasn't the easiest storyline to follow… too long, too many explosions, not enough real-people time on screen…just my opinion.. and i LOVED the first one

Dear god, those stupid robots. As Roger Ebert said, have we not learned from Jar Jar Binks? Giving aliens and/or robots wacky, quirky, or otherwise stereotypical personalities in an attempt to connect to the younger, hipper crowd almost always becomes an utter failure. I really don't need sassy robots saying things like "pop a cap in yo ass."
If you really want to see it, wait for the DVD release.

This is a great movie, regardless of what the critics say. It's a movie about robots fighting the crap out of each other - that's it. People who are rating this movie should realize that and not put too much into else into it. No one cares about the love story of Megan Fox and Shia Lebouf. It's called "Transformers" and the movie definitely delivers. I went to the midnight show and it was packed with true fans who loved it. Those are the people who's opinions matter - not the critics….
And I'm going to see it several more times too!!

Terrible. Astonishingly terrible. I should have listened to the terrible reviews it got, but no I went and saw it, and holy fuck was it just TERRIBLE. Too long, acting is busted, and the "storyline" is all over the place. If it weren't for the over use of all the special effects and what not, it'd be a dud (and I'm sure fox had a lot to do with why people went, just saying).

The movie was amazing! My husband, myself and a friend went last night to watch Transformers and it was extrodanary! Michael Bay nailed this one out of the park. It had all the elements a movie needs to be great. i loved all the new characters, especailly the "TWINS". They are so funny! Great movie, Perez you have to go and see it, it is worth every penny! I grew up watching Transformers, so I was excited to see the use of the Constructabots! As a matter of fact every showtime was SOLD OUT last night! Luckily we had our tickets two days in advance!!! GREAT ENTERTAINMENT for EVERYONE!!

It was OK…not great, but OK. We went to the midnight viewing. I couldn't stand those stupid twin bots thu, they were just stupid. And the morphing girl bot, with the tongue thing….where did she come from? I dont remember reading about her in the comic books or in the cartoon series! But in all it was OK, the first was way better. Shia was looking good (of course!) and M Fox…idk, she's pretty and all but just so plastic looking…idk what i would call her.

Anyone that likes this movie and calls it great or jilarious should immediatly head to the emergency room for a brain scan to check for brain damage. When I was watching it I was thinking "WOW ! This movie is AWESOME! It's really really really good, full of action and humor." But then, when you get out of the theater and think about it, it has a very common story line. All in all though, it is a good movie. I think it might even be better than the first one.

It was visually amazing, but tyrese's lines were god awful as well as the racist robot twins mudflap and something. Plus it was suuuuper long but I love transformers having grown up in the 80s so its worth it just to see robots fight!

I said it before and I'll say it again. This movie sucked so bad I wanted to cry. I was so let down because I loved the first one. If crude humor and stupid jokes and a retarded plot make you giddy, go see it. The ONLY parts I enjoyed were the "good" robot scenes…you know the ones that don't make lame jokes, hump Megan Fox's leg, and generally just kick ass.
