I actually met Eric last week at my radio station and he said he had Perez to thank for some of his success. As much as I can't stand the famewhore that Perez has, unfortunately he has the power to help some people out…though he tends to hurt people more.
Eric Hutchinson is a sweet fun guy and his shows are FANTASTIC.

I actually saw Eric live for the second time on Tuesday. I saw him last year right when Perez started writing about him, and when he toured with Jack's Mannequin. He's a really sweet guy, and amazing live, and I'm glad I got to meet him. It's great that emerging artists like Eric can use Perez as a media outlet to get where they want to be.
