Glambert Speaks - Again!
Setting the record straight clear!
So did he write those songs or not????
The label set to release an album of old Adam Lambert songs (from 2007/08) claim he did co-write them. He denied it.
Well, a week after the first new/old song leaked, Glamberella is speaking out again.
He says:
"Last Friday I was surprised to find out that songs I recorded back in 2005 were being released. Since then I discovered the entire track listing, revealed online today. I was shocked to learn that songwriting demos of songs that I co-wrote and recorded over the past few years may be released in an album. Like a rough draft that a writer does before finishing a book, I did not intend my work on these demos to be heard by the public. I was unaware that anyone intended to release these recordings until I heard about it in the press, and I'm very disappointed by this entire situation."
Unfortunately, sometimes it's more about the money than the music.
As for his real record, the one coming out through 19 Recordings, Glambert has been working mighty hard with some big names. Recently, he met with legendary producer Linda Perry as well as had writing sessions with Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Grammy nominated Sam Sparro, and also went into the studio with One Republic's Ryan Tedder.
This sounds like it's gonna be one hell of a record!

So he recorded the demos and then just forgot about them? Additionally, the names of songs and shorts takes from them were available online so hw could he have not known that they were the ones he co-wrote?

I'm an Adam fan. I think he's unique and if he plays it right in the industry; he will go the distance. In saying that, can someone please tell him to STFU already about all this? Who cares? You cannot, as a famous person comment on every single little thing that gets written/said about you. Shake it off and prove your talent instead of arguing about it in the press.
I love me some Adam. So happy to see any news about him, I miss seeing him every week on Idol.

He co-wrote a bunch of the songs, so I would think he would want to have that out there for his fans. I'm actually a big fan of him and want to hear the stuff. It sounds like the record label he is on now just wants to pocket all of the money.
