He inspired so many people and even our current singers can't deny that Michael is behind some of their moves, such as Usher, Chris brown, Neyo, I could go on but you get the point. On the molestation note, Who ever has something to say about that, you weren't there, it didn't happen to you, and your not one of the supposed victims so you don't know what really happened or if anything really did happen and you never will. omg this so, so heart wrenching… i am from india and i can proudly say that i still (and i'm sure, millions) still listen to his music.
his music spanned countries, continents and transcended all barriers- whether physical, emotional or spiritual. it was truly universal. it's sad to see no other musician after him has touched the world the way mj has.
his death is a rude shock- but perhaps it could be the ultimate way of finding peace- his soul was very distressed of late, i hope he is happy wherever he is.

Everyone who is expressing that Michael Jackson deserved to die or that they don't care that he died obviously have no real appreciation for music. Despite all his oddities and the allegations against him, there's no denying he was a talented man and will forever be one of the greatest musical artists ever. His body may have died but his soul in his music will live on and will continue living for more generations to come. I'm deeply saddened by this death because for me his music is synonymous with my childhood, it's what I grew up listening to, and now it's like a part of childhood has gone with him. And those of you bashing Perez for his earlier comment need to understand that since he removed that comment, it obviously shows that he's remorseful about those words.
