Although the court ordered Chris Brown not to go within 50 yards of Rihanna, both of them want to be rid of the strict no-contact clause, according to the NY Daily News.
"They think it's unnecessary and ridiculous," says a mutual pal. "After [the proceeding], Ri and Chris talked on the phone for almost an hour and really worked at becoming friends. They're solid now."

Perez, this is just stupid. You ought to realize by now that Chris and his people have been doing everything they can to give the impression that if they aren't dating they are "friends." Chris's future depends on him being seen as close to Rihanna so people will forget about him being a convicted felon who beats women. That doesn't sell a lot of CDs or songs or concert tickets. The judge placed that order on him with a reason. The same reasoning that the judge used when he told Rihanna she could tape his phone calls, because he was threatening her. All these rumors are coming from Chris and his people. Rihanna is well and truly thru with him. She would be happy never to see him or hear from him again. Period.

The restraining order is not ridiculous and is for her own good and safety, and would also prevent the 2 of them from getting back together so easily. Believe me I know….my ex used to beat the hell out of me, and there were times when he tried to con me into taking him back, I thought about going back to him, and the restraining order prevented that. You can be held in contempt of court for either party violating it. The restraining order may have saved my life and may save her's.

Brown is a total gentleman for taking all the blame. By taking the plea, Brown has counseling and 5 years of probation. (Perez, I'll bet you can't go 5 years without getting into a fight!!!). And Rihanna didn't have to take the stand and show the world that SHE was the aggressor.
This judge knew darned well what went on and wasn't about to let Rihanna off the hook. The order goes both ways: Rihanna can't get anywhere near Brown or she eats jail food. She lost one heck of a decent guy. Ultimately, she got what she deserves. All she can do now is eat her heart out. And Brown can move on to find some decent gal who doesn't beat the crap out of boyfriends.
