Coolio Avoids Jail Time, Gets Rehab

The hasbeen rapper has reached a plea deal!
Coolio was arrested in March for possession of crack cocaine at LAX Airport. He was also arrested last June for traffic violation charges and having an outstanding warrant.
The Gangster's Paradise musician had pleased guilty to felony cocaine possession in a deal that requires him to spend 18 months in rehab.
No jail time!
A judge ordered Coolio to enter an 18-month drug rehabilitation program. With Dr. Drew???
He can request the judge dismiss his case if he successfully completes the program.
Crackio is due back in court September 28th for a report on his progress.

Must be nice to be a celebrity and get off for major crimes. Any other person with no wealth or fame to his/her name would have been put in the slammer for a long time.
