NBC To Celebrate Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon's publicist has announced that a celebration will be held in honor of the late Tonight show sidekick on July 1.
An untelevised event is scheduled to be held at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood and will be hosted by NBC.
McMahon's publicist says that details have yet to be finalized, including the guest list.
A man worth remembering. We're sure they will honor him beautifully.

Ed McMahon was a real gentleman. I had a chance to met him here in my city. They were at a huge mall auditioning people for Star Search. He stopped ME
and ask me if i was there to audition. I told him I was a model and I can sing but I was not there for that. I then asked him about his daughter who he cherished. He actually talked to me. With bodyguards! And he was so nice. I never forgot that and everytime I saw Star Search I would smile for one brief moment I had a personal conversation with Ed McMahon. RIP! Just sayin what a nice person he was and how sad his passing is. I hope they do televise it I will be watching. Ed I'll be seeing you!
I'm so relieved Michael Jacksons death didn't overshadow his and Farrahs deaths completely
