ANOTHER Effing Remake!

awil11.jpg

Note to anyone trying to break into the industry: Hollywood has dried up. Go become a teacher or a biochemist.

All we keep seeing is crappy movies being made into crappier remakes.

And here's another one!

Dimension Films is slated to remake the 1981 horror flick An American Werewolf In London, the story of two Americans touring London when they get attacked by werewolves. We understand it has become quite the cult classic, though we didn't much care for it.

And, yet, someone decides to screw with a good thing. A terrible idea, if you ask us!

What do U think?

  3. 3

RE MAKES SUCK, THE WORSE BEING

    any of lohans and
    the posieden adventure,
    JUST SAY no !!!!!!

  4. 4

I think if Hollywood listened to you about movies we'd be subjected to thousands of crappy movies starring Lady Gaga and her fat ass.

  5. 5

    make that remake

  6. 6

    your opinion is laaaame

  7. 7

i remeber seeing this film, it made no sense that the bloke was in yorkshire but then gets transported to a hospital in london… 200 miles south. but i supposed 'an american werewolf in doncaster' doesnt quite have the same ring to it…

  8. 8

American Werewolf in London has ALREADY been remade.
There was American Werewolf in Paris. I loved that one too. They were both funny and entertaining.
You are too young to get the original.

  9. 9

It was an awesome film! A remake MIGHT work as it does look rather dated now - but still a classic.

  10. 10

perez, just cause you think it will suck, doesn't matter. Opinions are like assholes…. everyone has one….. Yours doesn't make a lick of difference.

  11. 11

Didn't they already remake this movie in like the early part of 1997? I know they did because I like the scene were the chick was grinding up the heart and some other vital organs in the blender. Give me a minute…

  12. 12

Tom Everett Scott was in it! I know I wasn't trippin'!!
Any ways…some things are worth the remake. THIS isn't one of them. Although I did like this movie when I was a lil kid! Kinda scary for 80's special effects!

  13. 13

werewolves, vampires, pseudo-japanese robots… how creative in hollywood!
thank god nowadays this crap can be seen without paying…

  14. 14

Now this movie does not need to be remade…its one of my favorite all time "horror" movies and IMO has held up rather well for special effects from the early 80s.

  15. 15

I want to see Wicked made into a movie

  16. 16

I think they should make wicked a movie. I miss real musicals. Stop making remakes and sucy musicals like hsm

  17. 17

goooooood, after twilight everybody tries to lift on their succes about mythical creatures and so they start remaking things that dont even need remaking, they are just doing it for the purpase of making money… retards..

  18. 18

I HOPE THEY DON'T SCREW IT UP. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES AND IT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ME LOVING HORROR MOVIES TODAY.

  19. 19

Your such an idiot Perez. This film wasn't shitty at all. Your taste fucking sucks. The remake will blow though.

  20. 20

    Sux

  21. 21

More proof that there are no original thinkers left in Hollywood… Remakes suck!

  22. 22

They already remade that film 7 years ago. American Werewolf In Paris. It had that stupid Bush song the gavin said "mouth" in like 80 times.

  23. 23

Remakes blow! Hollywood and the music industry must be run by the grown up kids of the rich and famous, that's why everything sucks nowadays. All of these lame no talent young "stars" are nothing but the ugly kids of studio executives.

Yes, I agree, Perez's taste sucks. He would probably really like a Shopping Barbies movie with a soundtrack made by a teenage Japanese girl pop group.

  24. 24

They already DID remake this movie….guess their hoping for three times a charm in Hollywood. Damn can noone write original ideas anymore? sad sad sad

  25. 25

i thought there already was a remake of this from like 10 years ago

  26. 26

    woot

  27. 27

NOOOOOOO!!!!! STOP with the remakes!!!! OMG - we want ORIGINAL movies like AWAY WE GO and THE HANGOVER

  28. 28

I believe if they can add some Twilight style hot werewolves into the mix it work beautifully

  29. 29

it was already redone…that movie was called…American Werewolf in Paris…seriously…whats the point.

i say they remake SleepawayCamp…now theres a scary movie with a surprise ending!

  30. 30

Perez, they already made a remake and it was called An American Werewolf in Paris!

  31. 31

Whoa, make up your mind. First you say it's a crappy movie, and then 4 sentences later you say it's a good one. Anyway, I love this movie and if they really are going to remake it, I hope they don't screw it up. I was a kid when I first saw this movie and it pretty much scared the piss out of me to see the guy transform into the werewolf. I was so scared I loved it.

Re: Sisaly – That wasn't exactly a remake darlin', it's called a sequel.

  32. 32

Oh come on…. If it ain´t broken, don´t fix it! I´m so tired of all the re-makes… gaah :/. Don´t mess….

  33. 33

They should also rename it too, to "An American Warthog in London" and cast you as lead.

  34. 34

Is there a total lack of creativity in Hollywood or what? Is it all the drugs and shit out there????

Someone explain to me this lack of creative thinking out there because I don't get it… at all. And yet us little, "normal" creative sorts with a TON of original ideas sit and rot in the gutter.

  35. 35

Great movie…if they can pull off what they did with Friday the 13th then power to them.

  36. 36

    Bad Idea.

  37. 37

love this film, why ruin it? WHY?

  38. 38

    no nO NO NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
    Fuck you Hollywood.

  39. 39

Lame wasn't there an earlier remake called an American Werewolf in Paris and didn't that bomb. Why go back for a 3rd go it's not like it's Superman or Batman. LAME.

  40. 40

No one cares if you didn't like it, Perez.. seeing as your tastes are limited to High School Musical and Lady fucking Ga-Gag!

  41. DaLa says – reply to this

    41

Please have the decency to acknowledge that it's not the writers and directors who have "dried up". It's the studios that are scared shitless to try anything new for fear of losing money. They convince themselves that these old franchises have a built in fan base. Expect more of this as the economy continues to tank. If you want new material stop going to see these rehashed messes. Eventually the development execs will get the message.

  42. 42

    Hands off this classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  43. 43

Which is exactly why no one should pay to go see these crappy remakes and just watch them online. Hollywood needs to learn that we don't want them ruining any more movies, so just download them and watch them illegally. You should actually be promoting that, if you tell people to just watch them online then maybe Hollywood would start to think otherwise instead of pumping out sequels and remakes like we need it to breathe.

  44. 44

    they will fuck it up

  45. 45

um there already was a remake? well i've never seen the one shown above but there was one made in the late 90's i think with the same name….the vince veoulf(?) guy was in it…idk…lol…just thought i'd mention it

  46. 46

i'll see it when it comes on cable, which will likely be soon :)

  47. 47

didn't they already make a remake?….I'm pretty sure they did, but they titled it An American Werewolf in Paris….
