Couldn't watch the last minute. Perhaps if she wasn't so focused on ugly outfits and theatrics, it would have been a pretty performance. Instead, like always, all I see is someone who likes herself waaaay too much.
It sounds strange when english-speaking people sing in Latin. Beyonce obviously doesn't care about how to pronounce words correctly and at the same time she is probably thinking she's all professionell and shit. Moreover she is far away from being an opera singer. She should just stick to her useless RnB crap. She lacks in cultural, vocal, emotional and linguistic talent.
She's tries WAYYY too hard and what was the point of that outfit and adding that silly skirt to it? Just wear a nice dress and be graceful but that's too much to ask for over-do-it Beyonce.
And the "dress" is the most hideous thing I've seen in a long time.
She really thinks she something doesn't she? She can't sing as evidence by the notes she struggles to reach but thinks she can. It would be pretty is she didn't go up and down and up and down on all those notes. UGH. I laughed out loud about she looked like she belonged on top of a toilet paper roll. Exactly!

This performance is wrong on so many levels. The worst is her completely inappropriate attire for singing sacred music. It's not okay to sing sacred music in lingerie. It's disrespectful and this music was not written for this type of performance. Ave Maria is not a "wedding song." Could she scream any louder that she has no higher education? Secondly, it's wrong to mix sacred music with secular music. Her willingness to make these decisions about a performance shows a tremendous amount of ignorance on her part.
I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be a tribute to MJ so she didn't have a lot of time to practice it- her outfit still managed to be more tragic than her singing though (quite a feat)

I thought the whole night was a mess. Michael Jackson tribute? What a joke. Very few Michael Jackson songs. If that was the best they could do, they should have waited. The whole night was a bore!!!
Are you kidding me? She looked like a circus performer, her performance was average at best…and I like Beyonce. Maybe, just maybe if Hollywood would quit praising their own when they are undeserving, people like MJ would still be here today. Understanding that their public behavior has very personal consequences would go a long way with most celebrities.
Lingerie with religious music? Is she serious? That is so disrespectful and tacky. But then again, she usually is tacky. Her outfits were ridiculous, as usual, but didn't anyone tell her that Ave Marie isn't a wedding song? Also, is it possible for her to perform without over-singing? She used to be good, but then she got too full of herself and she thinks she can hit notes that aren't in her range…she needs to go back to basics and stop being such a mess.

the performance was a hot mess. plus, her diction on the Ave Maria was ATROCIOUS!!! she was flat more than she was on pitch, and that dress(??)… anyway, I think the reason it didn't go over so well (besides the singing and the dress) was that the performance had a really strange concept and didn't really go together… it left the audience thinking, "wtf was that?" sorry B.

totally overinduglent, narcissistic, and ridiculous. Beyonce made the song all about HER, not about MJ. With the ridiculous dress, trying to look like some angel/princess. I cringed my way through this performance. Everyone else's tributes were very touching and respectful. Beyonce's– all about grabbing the spotlight for herself. And, her vocals were rough to listen to.

We thought it was utterly boring and strange. What was she wearing? She looked so stupid, trying so hard to prove to us she can sing. I wanted to see her put a ring on it or show of her ego!
