It Took 30 Minutes To Call 911 At Jackson's House!!!!

Did he not have a cell phone either?
Did no one else have a cell phone?
The news is devastating considering those 30 minutes could have been the ones that cost him his life!

Unfortunately the story is very sad and under the circumstances maybe his fate could have been changed but he choice a dangerous path that leaded him to death. As to being on demerol or narcotics everyday, Michael Jackson would have been incapable of taking care of his children. Without a nanny his children would have really suffered. I do not believe that we should idolize the man and I would like to hear about something else please

& the doctor should have known to move him to the floor to do CPR and not do CPR on the bed, otherwise you are giving the bed CPR as well.. not nearly as effective.

It is shocking that this doctor held the fate of MJ in his inept hands. I think the doctor was a charlatan - a money-grubbing fraud. He did everything wrong,from the phone call to incorrect CPR to waiting too long to call 911, and to refusing to sign the death certificate! THEN, he had the audacity to go "missing in action" - any normal doctor would have stayed to inform and console the famiy. Instead, this jerk leaves for several days. And when he returns, he has a high-profile attorney. Very fishy. Very very fishy. He's in deep, deep trouble. You're right - those 30 minutes cost MJ his life! Shame on Conrad Murray!!!

I think that at the end, nothing could have saved him really. He was living a very troubled life of addiction, loneliness and serious emotional pain. So it was a matter of time for him to end up dying like this. 30 min to call 911/family hiring a sober coach/a doctor living with him/enough CPR/etc, are just facts that might could help him to live a little longer. This whole scenario reeks of bullshit - BIG TIME!!! The story keeps changing, growing legs and taking on a life of it's own. So what REALLY happened? Did his oldest son witness him collapse in pain on the living room floor and think he was joking around? Or was he found by "the doctor" with a faint pulse and "still warm" in the bed? The whole CPR thing is totally off the wall… anyone with half a brain would never attempt resuscitation on a bed, firm mattress or not…. and now this business of "no phone" is just "la piece de resistence". Like I said - all of this stinks.
I think we all need to chill out and wait for those toxicology results. Those numbers will not lie, unlike some of the shady, sketchy characters involved……

if you followed the rest of the story, the doctor didn't know the address. He was trying to save him and had to run downstairs to have security call and give them the address. He didn't want to leave MJ, he was trying to save his life.

Things I found interesting about the lawyers comments:
1. Why in the hell would a doctor administer CPR on a bed and with only one hand? Even if it is an emergency situation, the floor would have been a much better surface than the bed, and provided much more support in comparison to placing a hand behind the back of michael. And even if Mr. Jackson is very "frail", compressions using two hands on an adult-sized person would be more effective than merely using one.
2. A doctor should know that in emergency situations, even with a weak pulse, CPR is mainly used to maintain oxygen flow to the brain until paramedics arrive. Even if an AED is present, the chance of "reviving" someone using CPR on the spot is very slim. It is ridiculous that the doctor performed CPR for 20-30mins prior to 911 being called.

this plus doing cpr on the bed, a physician should know better. in medicine, there's this thing called the "golden hour" which means the patient should be in surgery within an hour of when the incident starts, yet this quack wasted 30 minutes without calling 911 with improper cpr. one of the key components in dealing with this kind of emergency is to get them to the hospital asap. this doc seems to have forgotten the hippocratic oath, you know the part where it says DO NO HARM. if they dont press criminal charges on him, i would take him to civil court for negligence.
