Jackson Family Enlisted "Sober Coach" To Assist Singer

Too little too late?
Apparently Michael Jackson's family had hired a "sober coach" to accompany Jackson during his London concerts and help steer him away from what might prove to have been a fatal addiction to prescription painkillers.
The situation was so bad that his family considered forcibly committing the singer into rehab, which is possible under California law, but requires the recommendation of two different psychiatrists and approval from a judge.
Jackson allegedly adamantly insisted that he had no drug problem, but finally relented to detoxing at home under medical supervision, along with assistance from a sobriety coach.
The exact cause of Jackson's death is yet unknown, but if it does indeed turn out to be drug-related, it should serve as a warning to anyone out there to seek help before it's too late.

Who is your source? I am so tired of all of these people claiming to be close to the family. Until an actual member of Michael's family confirms this stuff to an actual reputable media outlet, I will not believe it.

they could have called an ambulance one of the many times they likely found him wasted. that would have got the ball rolling towards treatment. or he could have been arrested.
