Michael Had Pulse, His Doc Claims!
According to live-in doctor Conrad Murray M.D., Michael Jackson had a faint pulse and his body was warm when he was found in bed and not breathing on Thursday.
Edward Chernoff, the attorney for Dr. Murray, also said the doctor never prescribed the drugs Demerol, OxyContin or any drugs that contributed to Jackson's death.
When Murray discovered the pop icon was not responding, he administered CPR "with his hand behind his back to provide the necessary support" because Jackson was so frail.
Some have even speculated that he botched the CPR!
The doctor was interviewed by investigators for three hours Saturday and has been called "a witness to this tragedy" and not a suspect in the death.
"One of his best friends just died, essentially in his arms — yeah, he's looking forward to telling his story," Chernoff said, regarding his client's request not to speak publicly until after the investigation.
The truth will prevail!

The guy weighed 112 lbs, you could have given him cpr on a featherbed. If he was taking oxycontin AND demerol, the only thing that "might" have saved him is Narcan and even that's debateable.
I really think his doctor did all he could for him and only had the best intentions. I did think it was kind of weird though that he was administering him CPR on the bed, because even I know not to do that. But I guess being put in a posistion like that, you just panic. I hope he isn't punished for just being around a famous person when he died… Because with the money his family has, I could definitely see them hiring an excellent lawyer do just that.
I want to know how come the doctor left before paramedics arrived!!

… I'm taking a CPR class for the first time and I have to say… had Michael really had a pulse and wasn't breathing, the doctor should've known how to perform rescue breathing instead of CPR… and had he not had a pulse, the 'doctor' should've performed CPR like he would've done to a child! What a dumbass!

What are the odds that he just "happens" to find Michael when he's not breathing and still has a pulse?! This whole thing sounds SO weird. Or giving him CPR on a bed, no matter how firm it was. Why take a chance and not use the floor? For a cardiologist, something definitely sounds amiss.
you cannot give CPR effectively with your hand behind someones back, it is impossible. Ridiculous. This doctor is a quack if he thinks that is an acceptable method of administering CPR.
I've been a paramedic for fifteen years. This doctor is an utter fraud. There is no legitimate reason why he would be giving IV pain killers to MJ. There is also no reason why he would perform CPR on the bed. When you're doing compressions, the objective is to squeeze the heart between the spinal column and the sternum. The heart is "sandwiched" between these two bony structures and squeezed hard enough to empty the chambers. True CPR is somewhat brutal… not at all like on TV. The sternum separates, and sometimes ribs are even broken. Obviously you can't do this adequately on a bed, or with your hand behind the back.
Interesting choice of words. He says he never prescribed the drugs, but didn't say he never administered them. Also seems hard to believe that he could properly administer CPR with one hand. Sounds like a lawyer is trying to cover the tracks.
just my opinion, but this dr is full of shit and trying to cover his own ass. michael was a known prescription junkie. i'm a HUGE mj fan and devastated over his death, so it's not like i'm trying to say all good things about him. i'm guessing that when the tox report comes back we're going to find a deadly mix of drugs, administered by this quack of a dr. if he has nothing to hide, why did he leave before anyone could talk to him? why did he do cpr for 45 minutes before having anyone call 911?? there are just things that don't make sense and i'm hoping the tox reports point to injections of meds…
reports from autopsy said the doc broke mjs ribs during cpr mj was so frail, maybe osteoorosis ?
also why give cpr if a heartbeat, that means he is still alive, but not breathing ??? doesnt make sense does it ???
seriously, this doctor is talking in circles i am not even a doctor and can see this.
if the cops believe any of this so called heart doctors stories they are wrong to believe him. the doctor is not making sense, it seems this doctor went awol to get " advise " from lawyers and it seems this so called doc is changing his story and twisting the words to get out of being guilty for m.j.s death…….

and also that several needle puncture marks were in his heart and damaged his heart as in , injected in the wrong place and also a severe puncture by needle in a rib bone ….

Working in the medical field since 2001, I can think of way too many things that don't add up, most of you have already mentioned them.
1. If there's a pulse and not breathing, he needs to do rescue breaths, not CPR
2. Keeping him on the bed, WTF, the floor should have been the first place.
3. Putting a hand behind MJ's back because of being so frail? Not adequate CPR and also why worry about frail if the person is dead, I don't see MJ getting any worst then dead. CPR sometimes does break ribs though.
4. If all these rumors about pain killers were true, what doctor living there in their right mind would not have any Narcan at hand, just in case it was a narcotic OD.
Any real doctor would have medical equipment. I would have thought if he was a doc, he would have gotten an IV set and meds on board. But who knows, I am not a Dr

rule #1 of CPR is that is has to be done on a hard surface to work properly..and the 911 call says that CPR was being administered on the bed, therefore making it innefective.

"One of his best friends"? Yeah right! He'd just been hired one month earlier, I doubt they were tight by that time. And would you let your best friend die? That doctor has been receiving death threats, and I'm GLAD, because I think there needs to be MAJOR consequences for messing with the life of someone so amazing and talented and just… incredibly kind and inspirational. He botched the CPR, didn't call 911 right away, didn't move him to the floor immediately to make the CPR more efficient….. Fuck him. He should be dead in MJ's place.
Re: CuddlyCarla – Michael Jackson often, including in this case apparently, told him to sit on his bed and watch him sleep to make sure he was alright. So he was doing this and had left 'briefly', then returned and found him in that state. Supposedly. I strongly hate this doctor, Michael could've still been among us if the guy were more competent!
