Very sad, and very brave for her to take the stage and say those painful words. It is still to hard for me, just a fan, to say the words of his passing. I hope the Jackson family is helped through all our prayers and love. And for those of you who have only negative things to say, please save it for another day, today is just not the right day for your words to pierce already broken hearts.

I was in complete shock when I saw Janet come out. It literally brought me to tears just seeing the grieft on her face. It amazes me how she found the strength and courage to speak about her brother and show him the respect he deserved. I was completely disappointed with BET and how they ran this show in a so called "tribute" to Michael. I understand that his death was sudden, but he deserved more respect than what he got, no one wants to hear Jamie Foxx talking about his package being big when he is honoring a man who is forever a legend. Shame on BET and having their award show being completely ghetto and disrespectful to a man who paved the way to all of those artists that were there. May he R.I.P love you always Michael Jackson, forever a legend in my eyes.

It's nearly seven months later, and Tom Hanks still can't handle a press junket to promote a movie. That is a more understandable reaction.
I have no doubt that Janet and the rest of family is in mourning, but I'm sure a few of them are busily trying to figure out whether or not this is a financial boon or bust for them as well.

Thanks Perez I mentioned this is the post about that vile Joe Jackson. Janet was elected by the family to attend the award show that honored Michael Jackson. She said they all wanted to be there but it was too much. The girl had to be carried from the stage. She is wearing all white. A duster pant suit and she look really good but sad who would'nt at the same time. She could not speak for a couple of minutes. I cried. Then they sang a song to Michael his song I'll be there. There was not a dry eye in the audience. Katherine their mother is the backbone of the family not JOE! Janet was not smiling she said she would make it SHORT and she did. This was in the LAST 10 minutes of show. I really feel for that family. But, Joe stayed the entire show. Bad taste! I would have left with my daughter. No wonder Michael had problems. Well he don't now. Joe can never hurt him again. God Speed to that family! Especially his children.

Janet, like her mother, is a pillar of beauty and strength. I am so proud of BET for their great tribute. I am proud to say I wasn't one of the haters that flipped a 180 when he died. I celebrated Michael's beauty and uniqueness in life and am celebrating it now that he's gone. If there is a heaven, Michael is there happily smiling down at all of us. RIP, MJ, may you finally have the peace you deserve.

An autopsy on Michael Jackson revealed that the King of Pop's emaciated body was riddled with needle marks and scars, and his head was virtually bald, it was reported today.
Jackson's body had wasted away to a mere 112 pounds, and his stomach was completely empty except for partially dissolved pills, according to the London Sun.
His hips, thighs and shoulders were covered with needle wounds, believed to have come from shots of painkillers, and he was wearing a wig when he was found because his hair had been reduced to a "peach fuzz" on his scalp, the report said.
"He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out, and he had been eating nothing but pills when he died," a source close to the singer's entourage told the paper.
"Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he'd been in terminal decline for some years."
Jackson had one spot above his left ear that was scarred and completely bald - the apparent result of burns sustained when his hair caught fire while he was filming a Pepsi commercial in 1984.
He also had numerous other scars, apparently from plastic surgery.
In addition, he had mysterious bruises on his knees and shins and cuts on his back, possibly indicating a recent fall, the paper said.

This is how someone looks when they are truly grieving……unlike Joe Jackson, who is a despicable human being. I still cannot believe what I witnessed on that interview with him at the BET show. My heart aches for Michael and the abuse he suffered at the hands of that monster. It is no wonder he lived and died an unhappy man. It is so evident that Janet loved her brother so much, and I know how difficult it was for her to speak to the audience. But she managed to do it out of love. Bravo to her!

i cried with Janet… she is beautiful no matter what size she is… thats first… and as a black person, i must say, that i never watch BET because of the stereotypical crap they have on their channel that shows blacks sometimes in a negative light.. but i did watch the awards today.. and went so wrong. The MJ tribute throughout the show was so disrespectful. I didn't care for Mr. Foxx wanting a close up on his crotch. Nor, did I find that the discussion of his nose, plastic surgery, or what color he was, and what race he belong to, or who they let borrow him. I cared about the fact that, this person was a human being and deserved respected. I believe he deserved to be honored the same way he honored James Brown Years before… Joe Jackson creeped me out.. even sitting with the Knowles clan, when Beyonce dissed the Jacksons months prior. The award show was "ghetto." It was not respectful to the KING OF POP. And my family, and friends, found it very hard to watch tonight. Even as Soldier Boy ran around the stage doing nothing. As Lil' Wayne dropped the most Cuss words. As Tiny got her ignorant ass on stage and spoke like a Ghetto Hood rat. It was a disgrace. and I felt so bad for the Jacksons.
