These photos from Michael Jackson's final dress rehearsal - the night before his death - for his London shows are very bittersweet to look at.
Especially since it seems that despite all his tabloid headline-making behavior, he was really going to pull off his O2 Arena gig with flair.
It is, however, good to see him smiling on stage, evoking memories of Jackson in his heyday.
Rest in peace, Michael.

There are many of blogs and gossip sites that said something to be funny (personally seeing the one with the joke abou the childrens hospital was far worse than what Perez said). Michael's greatest joy was being with his children, and being on that stage. You didn't even post all the pictures. I can't wait until the rehearsal tapes are released showing Michael doing what he did best. You don't deserve the right to ever type or utter Michael's name. He is resting in peace now that he no longer has to be subjected to harsh words about him from people like you.
reports are saying that although he was late for rehearsals and lethargic (from the drugs, most likely), that he seemed happy onstage. i think he was in his element. his fans were his family, his life. i hate to think that he may be paying for what he did during his lifetime, even if he does deserve it

I have been to sooooo many concerts for many different genres. I have seen some of the most amazing performers, but even during his legal troubled times. I always said that Michael was the BEST I ever saw. =) you just felt his energy and to experience him in concert was an honor. Just to mention a few I have seen madonna, acdc, metallica, u2, garth brooks and the rolling stones but Michael was the best!!! RIP =(

It is nice to see him smiling but also very heartbreaking. The more I look at him, the more I see how everyone who is getting their 15 minutes of fame of his death failed him while he was living. Think about it, he had no one to turn to. His celebrity friends left him in the dust and the non-famous ones he encountered only robbed him of his character for the sake of money. Obviously, he needed someone to care for him and about him without looking at what they could get out of him. I hope Michael finds the peace he never was able to get here on earth. RIP to a legend who will not be forgotten.

All of you laughed when MJ was parodied in the Scary Movie film. Now you just want to be politically correct. Well I don't follow the sheep and just have to say that the plastic surgery MJ had an obsession with, should have used ear cartilage all along for the tip of his nose. He would not have required repeated nose transformations, had they gone with this procedure in the first place. He would not have required a face mask. This last photo of MJ proves the plastic surgeon using a part of MJ's ear was brilliant. And hiding his ears, used for the nose surgeries, under his long wig - er - hair - good move.
