The English-language version, She-Wolf, will be released in two weeks.
We really like, though don't LOVE the song. We love the groove and that she is trying something different - a little funkier, a little more dance. Our only critique is that it's at times hard to decipher the lyrics and what she's saying.
But, we really really like it and think we will grow to love it after just a few spins!

Shakira is very pretty, but her voice is just awful. I hate that yodel-y sound of her voice. Bleah.

I'm not diggin' her voice throughout the whole song, it's at times really gross/creepy, but overall the song's freakin awesome. I like that she's always doing something different, yet she's still Shakira. If I want something fun to listen to when I get blitzed, i'd definitely turn this on and dance.

Mechanical and overprocessed. This production takes away the only thing Shakira has to offer as an artist, passion, since she's hardly a great vocalist. Can anyone explain why somebody so vociferously anti-white, anti-Anglo and La Raza in inclination would seek to emulate people of European ancestry by bleaching her hair blond?

You're right, it's very hard to understand what she's saying. When I heard the words, however, I thought they were very poetic. The howl definitely killed it for me. Maybe the English version will be better?

Hi, I really love this song. I'm a Shakira's fan since 2001 and I think this «new Shakira», as you call she, is very fresh and fun. This is great to have a new style and not stay always in the same songs and bla bla.

it's a VERY different step than her last album…but kinda picking up where Las De La Intuicion left off. Kinda wish you could make her words out a bit more but it doesn make me curious about the rest of the album.
I still think it'll be hard to top Fijacion Oral because that was so well put together, mature yet edgey.

It's fresh and yet still true to her.
The howling is appropriate, since the song is called Loba, She-wolf and singing about finding a domestic wolf. After hearing it a 2nd and 3rd time I get every word and I love it.

i think its good if you enjoy it for what it is, no artist is going to remain the same always, so for people who keep expecting her usual belly dancing music, are going to be disappointed i think.

One of the first things that I loved about Shakira was the Spanish toungue twisters! She does it again in this song. It's playful and FUN, FUN, FUN =)
