Underneath The Covers! The Killers Pay Tribute

Well, if you were hoping for an album of new material from Brandon Flowers and the boys, don't hold your breath!
The Killers have announced that they have plans to release an album full of covers by the end of the year!
"It's something that we've always talked about doing and we're still talking about," Flowers shared with NME.
He lamented about the group's trouble with song selection: "It's difficult for each of us to pick songs that represent us as individuals. I mean, I have a lot of personalities myself! I've gone through everything from Neil Diamond to the Cars."
So what'll land on the album of covers?
Drummer Ronnie Vanucci revealed his personal front runners for the record: "Genesis, Tom Waits, a little Cyndi Lauper, Iggy Pop" as well as "messing around with a couple of Fleet Foxes songs."

Yay just what we need more UNORIGINAL artists recycling peoples old hits and churning out garbage….why are they rich again?

I think covers done in the new artists own way is a huge compliment to the previous artist! I love covers! C'mon don't you always feel good and nostalgic when you here a song you loved with a great twist, it just has to be done right! And the killers will do it right!
