So are the Sopranos getting Desperate?

Nicolette Sheridan's pumps will be filled by the Sopranos' Emmy award-winning Drea de Matteo, who is joining Housewives this coming season.

As a series regular, de Mateo will play the matriarch of an Italian family who move into Wisteria Lane, straying not too far from former gig.

Whatever pays the bills!

LUV THIS! I HAVE KINDA FALLEN OUT OF LUV WITH D.H. AND I THINK DREA IS WHAT THE SHOW NEEDS, THO I CAN HEAR THE CAT FIGHT RUMORS ALREADY STARTING, CONSIDERING THAT SHE IS SO MUCH MORE PRETTIER THAN ANY OF THE OTHER LADIES ON THE SHOW….LOL…I LUVED HER ON THE SOPRANOS (ONE OF MY FAV SHOWS EVA!!!) AND I THINK THAT SHE'LL DO GREAT ON D.H. AND IT MIGHT EVEN GET ME TO START WATCHING AGAIN….

Actually, I don't watch Desperate Housewives, but I hope she's successful - she deserves it!
