Jude Law & Hamlet Are Broadway Bound
Filed under: Broadway Babies > Jude Law
After a wildly successful and sold out run of the Donmar Warehouse production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet in London's West End, the production is coming to the Great White Way. And, no worries, the aging British playboy extraordinary Jude Law will travel across the Atlantic as well.
Performances will begin open on Tuesday, October 6 at the Broadhurst Theatre and run for a 12 week limited engagement.
The production and Jude have gotten rave reviews and we are rather intrigued to see if it's really as good as everyone says.
Will U see the production?

David Tennant in Hamlet was the definition of amazing. Jude Law is an ugly has-been nowadays.
HE HAS SOME HOT CROTCH ACTION GOING ON AND GREAT THIGHS. YEAH…..HE'S STILL HOT………AND I WOULD STILL SOOOOO HIT THAT!!!
Playing Hamlet broke Daniel Day-Lewis the fuck down.
ABSOLUTELY I'LL BE GOING TO SEE THIS. I mean, hell yeah!
Jude as a so-called "aging British playboy" is 100-times better than an aging whiny bozo whose only claim to fame is being snarky and getting his dumb ass kicked. Know who I'm referring to, Perez baby?
LOL!!!!
I saw the production last week…..and it was absolutely amazing. To be honest I never really got why people liked Jude Law…..but he is an AMAZING actor and a true artist. I even got to meet him after the show. And his eyes are even more captivating in person
)
I like him a lot. My favorite movies with Jude Law are "The talented Mr. Ripley" and "Enemy at the gates". He is a great actor!
I left out some important details from my previous post:
Jude as a so-called "aging British playboy" is 100-times better than an aging, whiny, fat, pimply bozo whose only claim to fame is being snarky and getting his dumb ass kicked. Know who I'm referring to, Perez baby?
LOL!!!!
Law was good in "The Talented Mr. Ripley." He's a decent actor, but he's no Jeremy Irons. Yet. And his looks are exaggerated. A man should be handsome, not pretty, like Law. And lest we forget, he walked out on his wife and children to fool around with Siena Miller.
I kinda think he's long in the tooth to be playing the Danish prince, anyway.
Re: caroaber – Nope, he didn't walk out on Sadie for Sienna, Sadie had already filed for divorce before Jude met Sienna on the set of Alfie. And divorce was granted one month later. "Lest we forget"…and we want to remember something that didn't happen because……?
You are definitely in the minority about the "long in the tooth" opinion, as seen in many blog accounts of people who have seen him in the London production and at the stage door.
I just heard that Jude Law has three undescended testicles.
Re: SamanthaB – Nah, that's Perez…they're stuck up so far they're hitting the back of his throat.
Jude would be awesome in this. Just saw him acting with Michael Caine in a movie today. Funny he ended up playing Alfie which Caine did first. Yes, he is still hot!
Looks like your average
gay one night stand.
This is surprising. For a west end play, Hamlet with Jude Law should have been much better! Some of the actors were terrible.
I waited hours to get standing tickets to see this in London…it was amazing! He may be a douche, but he can act!
I wish I still lived in NY but if it's still running in London when I'm there I'll definitely check it out!
why do they do this to themselves clearly he can act yes i agree i would hit that and be the nanny on the pool table lolllllll but whyyyyy do they go back to be in stage plays why why why whyyyyyyyyyyyy….
Love love love Jude.
i saw it and he was so amazing in it!!
DAVID TENNANT!
