T.R. Knight Broadway Bound!
Filed under: T.R. Knight > Broadway Babies
He's giving up television - for good it seems like!
After his sudden departure from Grey's Anatomy, T.R. Knight will take the stage! And then taking to the stage again!
As we previously mentioned, Knight will star in a Los Angeles production of the musical Parade this fall.
Now, it has just been announced that the actor will also star in the upcoming Broadway revival of the Tony Award-winning musical Lend Me a Tenor.
The show is set to open February 2010 and Stanley Tucci is set to direct!
Tenor centers around a Cleveland Opera Company's production of Othello. Knight will play Max, a production assistant forced to understudy for the lead, who has passed out from a double dose of tranquilizers.
Lots of luck on the stage, but we bet TV is paying the bills!

Boring
i'd like to lick its forehead and nose
Broadway is like a big old ball gargler magnet.
He obviously doesn't care about the money Perez he's doing what he wants to do not what pays the most which is a nice change in LA. Best of luck to him! I loved him on Grey's I will miss him next season. I hope they find a way of keeping George alive so he can come back sometime even if it's just for the final episode.
2 stories above you make fun of a lady getting a star because of Broadway…but you are encouraging T.R.?
Not one-sided at all, right Perez?
he is so ugly
Lend Me a Tenor is a play, it's not a musical…
fug midget. blah. he'll fade to logo channel specials
unappealing!
is he really wearing the Matthew Shepard pendant…i have the same one.
Versatile? I heard power-bottom.
