That's the FIRST bad review I've seen of the movie Perez… and somehow a Yahoo movie critic doesn't impress me as much as the LA Times movie critic.
Good thing that Johnny has NEVER cared what the critics think. He has forged his career his own way, and has never given in to the Hollywood machine. He's so hot, his hot streak will never be over!!
Yeah, I really don't give a damn about what yahoo says, since when were they a reliable source? I don't recall ever hearing anyone say they weren't going to see a movie because yahoo said it wasn't that great. Every other reviewer has loved it, so why don't you try putting up reviews people actually care about. I highly doubt this means his hot streak is over.
Just because "Public Enemies" isn't getting great reviews does not mean his hot streak is over. I've seen the movie. The biggest complaint I had was that it wasn't very historically accurate, but both Depp and Bale's performances in the movie are phenomenal.
Really? You get that it's critically panned because E Online says so? Funny but I've read a LOT of incredible reviews from more credible sources.
Oh and awesome how in US magazine this week every celebrity and the magazine agreed that you got what was coming to you with the Peas manager. Apparently everyone is sick of you being a bitch(especially about teenage girls) and then crying like a baby when someone cuts you down for it.
This movie sounds like the "perfect" copy of the one Vincet Cassel did lately this year…Cassel is really good, i watched the film in french…Johnny is good as well, but somethimes he falls…

Who cares if it got "panned"? (Although given your past judgment of "Alpha Dog" it's clear you wouldn't know a good movie if it was staring you right in the face) Johnny Depp is allowed to have one bad movie every few years. Besides even if the critics didn't like it it doesn't mean the viewers will think the same (unless they follow your every command). I'd still check it out…although I am holding out for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (that movie looks like its gonna be awesome!!!)

I saw a preview of the film and loved every minute of it. Letterman was right - it has great shoot out scenes. In addition, not being American; I couldn't care less about the little facts/details surrounding Dillingers' rise to fame as a bank robber; the escape scene is also amazing and Johnny Depp is still as gorgeous as ever! Better than a transformers movie any day (Shia = blurgh!)
This is one bad review out of a hell of a lot of good ones. E! online isn't exactly the most credible film critic. Try Empire magazine or Rolling Stone…Empire gave it 5 stars, and who really cares what some boring old film critic thinks?? Johnny Depp is a huge star and will probably draw in huge crowds for this film, i cant wait to see it!!!

And I'm right again, the Johnny Depp fangirls get mad. i just saw this film, Johnny wasn't even good. He gave his laziest performance of his career and he's given a lot of lazy performances like Sweeney Todd and Finding Neverland. He was a great actor in the 90's but not so much anymore besides the 1st Pirates.. Billy Crudup and Marion Cotillard were amazing in this. Bale was okay.
The critics are fucking morons. Transformers proved that. As did hundreds of other films that were trashed by critics and did VERY well.

critics always say its bad - the movie looks like it'll be great. if anything will be lacking it will be cause of Bale not Depp.
Meh, it's getting mixed reviews, but since when has anyone gone to e! online for movie reviews, that's like asking you for music reviews. i trust people like roger ebert, and he gave the movie 3 1/2 stars out of 4.
Are you really gonna trust Yahoo? Seriously. That's the first bad review I've read. NY Times, Newsweek AND The New Yorker all loved and I'm sorry but I think they're a little more reputable. Also Public Enemies is considered an art film and I doubt the writer at Yahoo appreciates something on that taste level.
I JUST watched this movie and thought it was absolutely friggen amazing!
I'd watch it again in a heartbeat! Was on the edge of my seat the whole movie, the emotion was great, the action scenes were full force and the ending left you not wanting to leave your seat. These over analytical reviews don't always represent the truth nor the audiences opinions, obviously!

It was filmed a few minutes from me. well a large part was .. at little bohemia.. which is the EXACT SAME location that the shootout occurred.. the bullet holes and john dillingers belongings are still there in his room which has been preserved.. cant get more accurate that filing with john dillingers actual items in his actual room . in the exact location where a pivotal part of the story happened.
