Jackson Lawyer Says Michael Loved His Abusive Father

Michael Jackson once admitted that he was prone to vomit in fear whenever he was in his father's presence. If that doesn't scream "loving relationship", we're not sure what does!
The Jackson family lawyer, Brian Oxman, went on The Early Show this morning to discuss some of the rumors circulating about Michael's personal affairs, especially the long-time bad blood between Michael and his father, Joe Jackson.
Despite actual confirmation from Michael Jackson himself that their relationship was tumultuous at best, Oxman insists that through it all, Michael loved Joe:
"No question about it. We hear all kinds of things to the contrary. But that's just part of the storm that's surrounded Michael Jackson's life. I mean, it's an unbelievable description of a storm. I only know what I saw. I only know the conversations and the dealings that I saw. And that is that Michael loved his dad, and the fact that he wouldn't be mentioned in a will is not all that surprising. He had a great relationship with his mother, and I think that you have to take it on face value. "
Yeah, and face value to us means that he knew and hated his dad enough to know that he could not be trusted with his money. That doesn't imply love to us!
Of course, the existing will has yet to be reviewed by Oxman or any member of the Jackson family.
Oxman explains:
"Katherine Jackson has filed a petition in the court in Los Angeles saying that they have not seen any will. And no one that I know of has ever seen the will, so we simply don't know. That will will be presented in time. I think that it's a little slow in being presented. But if it is Michael's will, certainly that's got to be his desires. That's got to be his case. But as of this moment, no one has seen the will or even knows about it."
Yeah, well when that will finally does surface, we know for certain there still won't be anything in there for Joe.

Brian Oxman IS NOT a Jackson family lawyer. He is a friend and NOT their lawyer anymore. He was fired in 2005. The Jackson Family have post a statement telling that nobody except from attorney Londell McMillan are authorized to speak on their behalf. Oxman is not their family lawyer!!!

We can't help who our parents are. But we do have a say in what we do with what we have, and Michael gave so much to so many despite the lack of love he received. I can understand his love/hate relationship with his dad, Joe Jackson was a monster to him but was also what gave MJ and his siblings their start. It's brilliant that Joe doesn't get anything in the will, though. Michael lent him plenty of money over the years and paid for his parents home and lots of their bills, that was enough. RIP.

Joe Jackson may have been insensitive and overbearing but I think only an overly sensitive child or a drama queen could misinterpret than as "abuse." The man and his wife raised and guided several children, out of a working class neighbourhood and into pop stardom. For some reason people love to vilify him instead of showing some compassion in this dark time. So what if he started talking (rambling?) about some new record company to reporters? Not everyone can pour their hearts out on cue, especially when the reality of a loved one's death is still sinking in.
I'm sure their relationship was very complex. Michael's dad lives in Vegas with his daughter he had with another woman. That is probably why Michael left the kids in his mothers care. His parents haven't had a real marriage for years. Also, you can still love your father and not have much to do with them. I haven't spoken to either of my parents in about 12 years, as I was abused as a child and they were not willing to admit to it or change. Do I love them, yes. They are my parents. Do I want to ever see them again…um, NO.

Hey a**wipe, why don't you do your research! Michael did state that when he was a child, notice the word *child*, that he would be physically sick worrying about his dad. However, he then said he thought his dad was a genius, and that he loved him. he just did not know him as a person as much as he did his mother, whom he said was perfection.
I am sure as he got older, he probably had a better relationship with his father. After all, his father gave him life. Maybe he decided to be the better person. There are many people that I love and would still not put in my will because of their financial decisions in the past. I have nothing against them, but I would like to see my money go where it should.
Michael was an angelic example of love. He loved everyone. In his goodness he even loved his father (forgiving him) which is what Jesus taught. MARK MY WORD … we ALL will learn to love more because of Michael. He taught us all a lesson.
BRIAN OXMAN does not represent the Jackson family at all and they released a statement last week saying that they only have one representative that speaks for the family. Brian Oxman is a hack craving attention. He's no better than all the other celebrity leaches trying to cash-in on someone elses fame. That's the sad part of Hollywood - everyone's trying to advance themselves by any means necessary and that usually means befriending a star and bringing an outsider into that world. We see it done every day. Everyone wants to be the next sensation. We live in a blog/YouTube dominated world now. Our future celebrities will possess little to no talent.
I understand Michael completely. Both my father and older brother where emotionally and physically abusive. My reaction to them at times caused me to vomit but it didn't mean that I didn't learn to forgive and love them through their frailties. My father is very ill now and I am happy to dress his bandaged wounds, take him to the hospital and feed him. However if I had children at this time I would "NEVER" leave them alone in the room with either family member because I would not be able to trust them to act in a loving and safe way. I'm sure Michael did love his father…he just had the wisdom and discernment not to trust him with his children or his money.
I also want to add to my last post that I believe Debbie Rowe will and should end up with the older 2 children. Michael's mother is an extraordinary and loving person but we have to remember…she did not have the appropriate strength and skill to properly protect her own children from their father or the negative outside influences of the entertainment industry which eats children for breakfast. Debbie Rowe loved Michael Jackson very much. She was heartbroken when he cut her off years ago. With Michael's death we will see Debbie's mother lion energy come forth to fully love and protect her children. And I predict she will help create an amazing loving, balanced and inspirational environment to bring the children up that will keep them out of the spotlight and away from invasive paparazzi and entertainment parasites. And I'm sure that now that Michael is on the other side where love and forgiveness reigns supreme I'll bet he now sees clearly that the best interests for the children will be best served by his former wife getting custody.
