Debbie Rowe Wants The Kids!
Despite earlier reports to the contrary, Debbie Rowe, self-proclaimed biological mother (not just the surrogate) of Michael Jackson's two eldest children, is asking for their custody following the singer's unexpected death.
Jackson's mother, Katherine, has been granted temporary custody of Prince, Paris, and "Blanket," and Jackson's will names her as the ultimate custodian, not Rowe, who receives no inheritance out of the contract either.
Rowe says that she is willing to submit to DNA and psychological tests in order to gain custody of the children. She also says that she is indeed concerned with splitting the kids up, and is willing to take on the youngest, whose surrogate mother was never identified.

They said last night that just because she was left off the Will, doesn't mean she isn't getting paid out of the 'family trust' MJ set up. They should go with their bio-mom or Diana Ross - at least her kids look normal!

Give her a break. Nobody knows what the real story is and what MJ may have done to her. He was a drug addicted freak, but a powerful and rich drug addicted freak! It's my recollection that she has been trying to have visitation with the kids for a number of years. (She went to court back when MJ was in court for his molestation charges.) Maybe he left the country (remember that he lived for a long time in the Middle East) in order to stop her from having a relationship. Let the facts come out before judgment.
If she's the biological mother, she has a constitutionally protected right under the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment to have her children UNLESS there's a compelling reason(s) that it would not be in the children's best interest (her children) to be placed with their mother. If this was the type of case I work on every day, I'd say the court would award custody to Debbie Rowe (again, unless there's a compelling reason, other than that she hasn't been the residential custodian prior to this, that it would not be in the children's best interest to be placed with her) and award liberal visitation to the grandparents as interested parties.
HOWEVER, given the fame/money involved with this estate and custody issue, I would bet money that the Jacksons strike a deal with Debbie Rowe to have her not fight to get the kids. If she doesn't object to custody being granted to Katherine, it's likely they'll grant her custody.
Anybody who can sell their children and not have contact with them does NOT deserve those kids!

I think she just got mad and humilliated after she heard the will and that she is mentioned there only to say that she doesn`t inherit anything. Michael seemingly wanted to say that he had payed whatever owed to her (and didn`t mean anything offensive).

If Michael can't be here for them, they should be with their biological mother. Katherine couldn't/wouldn't keep Michael's father from beating the shit out of him and putting him to work at 5 yrs. old. Why would anyone want her raising those kids. There is no way Debbie can win with the public because no matter what is in her heart, people will say it is for the money. No one knows her so you have no idea what her motives might be. There are some truly genuine people out there who want to help these children. You can't discredit her of wanting to do just that.
First off….I am glad that his kids are with Katherine Jackson. She has been nothing but a lovely woman all of her existence. And those who say that they don't want the kids to be around Joe Jackson…well they probably won't be around him that much. Katherine lives in Los Angeles and Joe lives in Las Vegas and even though they are technically married I doubt their marriage is really all that stable if they are living in separate houses, in separate states. Secondly, I really don't think Debbie Rowe should get the kids mostly because of all her previous statements of how she wanted to give Michael Jackson kids. I mean that's awesome she wanted to basically be a surrogate but that meant that she had to deal with the fact that she wouldn't have a real relationship with them. And it sounds like she agreed to the set up of only seeing them every so often…which it also sounds like she never really did. I don't really see any way *except for biological reasons* why Debbie Rowe should get the children considering she has almost a zero relationship with them and the third child barely even knows her!!! How traumatizing would that be for the third kid moving into a a house with someone he barely knows and knowing his whole life that the woman who takes care of him has no real relation to him *I mean if if isn't Jackson's sperm Jackson didn't either but the third kid was raised around all of Jackson's family*.
(continued) Finally, I would like to note that I think the best and most obvious home for the children would be with the nanny. She was their rock, their main female figure in the household and they grew up around her and are so attached to her. I think it would be a shame to take that role away from her. On top of all of that, she seems the least likely to be trying to seek financial gain from it. And she has more experience then anyone with the children. She just seems like the obvious choice.
Let's not judge her too harshly yet!! We have NO IDEA how mj's money, power and influence had a hold of her.

Ms. Rowe is the more likely to create a stable environment for the children. We have no idea why she has not had contact with her children, but I'm sure it will soon come out. I believe the Jackson Family has the inside scoup and in the near future will allow Ms. Rowe time with her children. If the children are not allowed a relationshiip w/mom at this time, they will when they reach the age of majority. The entire Jackson Family will come out of their restraint from MJ and thrive again.

The nanny originally worked as his office assistant, so she really doesn't have the experience as an educator. LISTEN…I was heartbroken when I heard Michael Jackson passed away. I'm turning 50 years old this month and both the Jackson 5 and Michael, as a solo artist, were such a part of the soundtrack which makes up my life. NOT just their music…but their presence. I love them.

I just watched the video of Michael at the last rehearsal prior to his passing…I CRIED, literally and honestly. I cried tears because I saw the man who I remembered and who I knew was, as the "King of Pop". He smiled, and what a smile he had. His joy was beyond words.

If she is the true biological mom, then she has substantial legal rights. Isn't she a nurse? Both families should put their heads together to give these two children more people who love them. There is no reason why they couldn't do it together and support the children and each other. Three kids is a lot of work, and Grandma Jackson is no spring chicken; and I didn't see Janet or LaToya or the siblings jumping up to file for any kind of custody.
