Judge Delays Jackson Guardianship Hearing

A hearing had been scheduled for Monday to discuss the guardianship of Michael Jackson's three children, but at the request of their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, and Michael's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, the hearing has been delayed.
Could Debbie and Katherine be trying to work out some type of $ettlement and arrangement????
Katherine will continue to retain temporary guardianship of the children until the rescheduled hearing on July 13.
It has been reported that Debbie Rowe will seek custody of the children and with that, implement a restraining order against Michael's father, Joe Jackson.

Good idea. Joe Jackson molested his son Michael as a child…so why let him NEAR Michael s children!!!
Joe and Katherine don't even LIVE together… JEEBUS… the children will be safe with WHOEVER they are with… be-it Katherine or Debbie. This is about whats right, and if Debbie is the biological mother the two children should be with her. It breaks my heart that the three would be separated but it's whats right.

I know the kids don't know their mother, but maybe going with her might be the best thing, because then they won't be raised by someone (Joe) who tormented MJ and abused him all those years and obviously caused serious mental damage to MJ. I worry that if they were around Joe, that he might try to get them in show biz too so he can make money off them just like he did MJ and the rest of the clan.
Only problem is, how much longer is Katherine going to be alive? Then they would go to Diana Ross? A virtual stranger to them.

i am not really sure how i feel about this whole situation but why would debbie rowe have an interest in being a mom all of a sudden. normally i am in favor of the biological mother but she never seemed to be present in her childrens's lives before mj's death, so why now? conscience kicking in perhaps? or just greed?
it's disgusting that this women who took money to have these kids and then abandoned them is actually seeking custody. all she wants is the money and that's shameful. watch. they'll reach a "settlement" and the kids will remain with katherine with some so-called visitation by the "mother."

Why can't these two women just sit down and work out a custody agreement?!? Granted, Debbie Rowe hasn't had a relationship with these children but that was Michael's choice as much as hers, seems like he wanted a surrogate and not a wife. Would it really be so bad for them to know their biological mom now??? Rowe has always talked favorably of Michael including testifying for him under oath during the molestation trial. I, for one, am crossing my fingers that these women can work out an amicable agreement that will give those kids a nice, balanced life which is something they didn't really have with Michael.

I don't think that they are delaying the hearing for that reason. Michael just died and there is so many other things going on. It's hard enough to arrange a funeral for loved one, let alone your own son who happens to be the biggest star in the world.
The kids shouldn't be with the grandmother or the biological mother
1) The mother is too old to watch after 3 kids
2) Michael Jackson's father is abusive and was cut out of MJ's will for a reason. Hass anyone stopped to think the kids wouldn't only be under her care?
3) Debbie Rowe was a surrogate mother, that is all.

Debbie tried to see the kids but MJ would not return her phone calls. She has agreed to take the third child. Debbie Rowe is a FAR better choice than Katherine Jackson who is 79 years old. If she was 20 years younger she would be a great choice but at her age she may not be around to see those kids grow up and whose going to want them when they're 17 and 18 yet still need a caring parent? Think ahead people.
I hope the children write books when they get older. I would love to know their feelings.

The mother hasn't been there like Michael was, I have nothing against Debbie but, Katherine seems like a better person to leave the kids with.

Michael Jackson sucked as a "parent." These kids had no stability at all. Lord only knows if he molested them. Maybe Debbie was intimidated like the rest of MJ accusers/victims. Ok So this is one of the saddest things that is happening with the whole Michael/death situation. It just makes me so angry that even though he is not their "biological" father so what? He was their father since the day they were born…and this is just going to hurt them in the long run…I dont know why people need to do things like this…all Debbie is thinking of is getting money, and if thats not the case then she just wants the media attention. She was hardly even spoke of until Michael died…this is ridonkulous!
