I'm sure Perez would agree with this. It can be applied to all sorts of situations! For example, Michael Vick's "talent" on the field should certainly override any horrible and sadistic things he did to helpless animals. He's talented, so who cares? The fact that Mel Gibson hates Jews should also be ignored, in light of his fantastic talent. Oh, and let's not forget OJ. He's talented, so we should probably just sidestep that messy issue of him stabbing people to death and then robbing some other people at gunpoint (thankfully, juries in Vegas are actually smart and would disagree on that point).

I'm sure Aline Hernandez, Karina Yapor, Mary Boquitas, and all the other girls who were abused, humiliated, and degraded by Gloria and Sergei would all agree that in light of their blinding "talent," the things they suffered are really not all that important.

Talent is no excuse for the things Gloria did. Especially a talent as marginal as hers.

Like it or not, Pereza got what he wants: to create controversy.
