Victoria Beckham Will Get You Arrested!

Early last year, we revealed that Victoria Beckham was the latest celeb to appear on a Marc Jacobs T-Shirt posing naked for skin cancer awareness.
Well, now, a man in uber-conservative Dubai has been arrested for wearing the tee!!!!!
WTF? Posh isn't even fully naked on the shirt!

It all started when Lebanese national Raffi Nernekian got in an argument with a local man at a bakery about the shirt, which he apparently purchased while on a trip to New York.
After the argument, Nernekian left to change, but when he returned he was was arrested and jailed for "offending public decency" and sentenced to a month.
And it gets worse!
Nernekian has lived in Dubai for about 5 years now, but after serving his sentence he's going to be deported!
Turns out Dubai's codes of conduct state "clothing shall not indecently expose parts of the body, be transparent, or display obscene or offensive pictures and slogans".

I'm always shocked when people visit other countries (even if he's lived their for 5 years, he is still a visitor) and are ignorant of the laws. If you are unable or unwilling to live the by laws of the land you are visiting you should be deported.

Well I live in the UAE, I wear what i want but DEPENDS where, for me i never been questioned by anyone concerning my outfit, but anyways, when i hear People who come to the UAE to work and Make good cash complaining about this place i say "Middle East is like Hate it or Love it/ Take it or Leave it" as easy as this. When you re in a country trying to work and make living i think you will have no choice other than respecting their rules.

Interesting to hear people say if you dont like the laws then do go to that country. Then why is it that when people from other countries move to Canada or the U.S. we have to bend over backwards to change rules and regulations so that we can make them comfortable? It's a 2 way street. Born to immigrant parents myself, I am sensitive to this topic BUT I would never go somewhere and try to change the rules.
