Drugs Identified In Jackson's Home, He Had The Real Hard Scripts!

It's looking more and more like his death definitely was an overdose!
They found the hadcore drugs there!
Reports are coming in explaining/confirming what kinds of drugs were in Michael Jackson's home prior to his sudden death.
An official from the police department confirmed that one such drug was Diprovan.
Diprovan is "an intravenous anesthetic drug widely used in operating rooms to induce unconsciousness."
Michael requested this drug because he had trouble sleeping. But the drug is not meant to to be used outside the hospital, nor is it an adequate aid for an insomniac.
It seems to be the common consensus that it was this drug mixed with a large amount of painkillers that resulted in the pop legends demise.
However, we'll wait until the final verdict in several weeks to know for sure. Doesn't look too promising, though.

What's wrong with a Halcion or two? Sometimes I have trouble sleeping, and 1 of those knocks you out cold - and you stay out too. Other people might need 2, as metabolisms can be different, but Diprovan? My gawd!

How is it that he get's these super strong drugs yet if someone so much as tries to fill their vicodin perscription early the DEA comes after them? That doctor should go to jail. Anyone having anything to do with giving him these drugs should be held responsible.

I know pain isn't exactly the most pleasant thing, but I wish he wasn't so afraid of it. Pain is a natural thing. It's more prefferable (well atleast in my opinion) to be aware of what's going on with your body, than to try to mask the problem with medications and expect it to be okay.
I got pretty sick awhile and had that experience, not being able to feel pain/ your body becoming numb. It's scarier than feeling pain.

With MJ trying to prepare for a comeback tour, is it really a surpride that he OD'd? People have known for years that he has been popping pills. He admitted to a problem back when he caught fire while doing a pepsi commercial. So he MUST have been in pain with all the hard prep work for the tour after YEARS of not doing anything that strenuous (Other than spending millions).
R.I.P. MJ. I hope your death brings to light the absolute stupidity of Rx drugs, and the need to find alternate NATURAL methods (like the chinese have been doing for centuries, and they live at least 15 years longer than the rest of the world)

I am a registered nurse, and we use diprovan in our procedure rooms every day. Diprovan is an anesthetic, however, the effects only last for a few minutes and then the patient wakes up, so in order to use it to stay asleep, someone would have to be giving a few milligrams IV every couple of minutes. A large dose at one time would depress the respiratory centers of the brain and he would have quit breathing, especially if given in conjunction with other narcotics.
The drug name is spelled DIPRIVAN, which is also known as Propofol. We jokingly call it "magic milk" as it looks and smells like cow's milk.
Okay Im a nurse. I keep hearing about diprovan used as anesthia . A more common use is sedation while intubated in ICU. It is often used of addicts in withdrawal to help with symptoms of withdrawal of alcohol or opiate withdrawal which fits. Addicts are always complaining of not being able to sleep. He had a doctor at his bedside who knew that he needed to be on a cardiac monitor at least while sedated with this. This doctor was there to do an at home detox, but why didn't he have the right equipment. Micheal could afford it.
My heart is so broken over this. =(
