It Is Free! Michael Jackson's Funeral Open To Public, Free Of Charge!

wenn-mjglove.jpg

As arrangements are being ironed out for the final farewell for Michael Jackson, we're happy to report for fans of the King of Pop that the funeral proceedings at the Staples Center in Los Angeles won't cost fans anything to attend.

The promoter announced this morning that "there will not be a charge for tickets" and that more details will become available later on in the day.

We're very glad to hear that the family is not looking to profit off of Michael's death, but we also know this is going to be a logistical nightmare! There is only 20,000 seats in Staples Center and way more fans than could ever be counted.

This is sure to be interesting.

You shouldn't post anything about Michael Jackson unless you apologize for accusing him of faking his death to get attention. Once and for all Perez, you need to take responsibility for your words.

  2. 2

That is going to be a circus (no pun intended)

  3. 3

"there ARE only 20,000 seats in the Staples Center." You sound like a hick Perez

  4. 4

Great, so all the pee pee toucher worshipers can go and pay their respects while all the real heros come home quietly in caskets from Iraq. Disqusting. Makes me want to puke.

I actually got on to say the same exact thing as "BetterFasterStronger"! You, Perez always shoot your mouth off, then when something sad or a death happens, you change your tune. Did you ever think of maybe getting a "real" job & leaving the "real" news to others? You should! What is your legacy going to be? Ha, makes you wonder doesnt it? Maybe the manager of the "peas" shouldve hit you harder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    your a prick

    free? tell the scalpers…

  9. 9

WRONG again. This was announced YESTERDAY when you were saying there would be a charge. You need to apologize for all of your lies.

Re: BetterFasterStronger – i don't like, perez much, but you need to shut the fuck up already!

As the world gets ready to lay to rest the BIGGEST ENTERTAINER TODATE,let us remember him for the entertainer he was ,the records he broke, the doors he kicked open, the kick ass dance moves, the gauntlet he threw down on making music videos, most of all his messages that was constant one of HOPE,LOVE,UNITY,SAVEING THE WORLD AND IT'S CHILDREN.The rest his personal demons will be judged by the only being who has the right to judge him his maker..Personaly i will watch with the world with a heavy heart, tear in my eyes, but with a smile on remembering as a young girl watching some award show ontv and seeing this man moon walk across the stage,my heart skipped beats, the excitement and magic i felt, i was hooked my first childhood crush, he was … Read Morethe man man i was going to marry…So to the KING OF POP thank you for the years of great music, every video better than the next the dance moves we all tried to copy, and the memories your music and message had on me throughout my life..you were fasinating and magical to watch do what you were born to do..it has been an honor growing up in the GENERATION MICHAEL JACKSON.. so may you R.I.P. you will be missed….xox

Re: nite6 – Answer this: What are you doing here? If you are so "bothered" by Perez not apologizing for speculating, like many did on the day it happened, then what the fuck are you here for? It's HIS blog, and he owes you nothing. Not attention, not an apology, not shit. If anything, your presence here adds traffic volume which in turn increases his income. Pretty stupid of you frankly. Some little nobody shit you like yourself asking for some "apology" is one of the funniest most self-righteous acts of bullshit I've ever seen.

  15. 15

omg theres gonna be a riot

  16. 16

You're an asshole Mario. You posted that tickets are 25$. Get your shit straight before you post things you don't really know.

    17

Hmmm.. Considering that AEG is out tens of millions of dollars by Jacko dying, and the City of L.A., and state of CA are BROKE— who will pay for this?

Extra cops, street closures etc. will cost El Lay tons of money- which they clearly don't have.

  18. 18

dumbass, you still have to have a ticket and I'm sure they are being handled accordingly. I think the Jackson's probably know some peopl who know how to distribute tickets. No ticket no entry, how hard can it be?

  19. 19

As usual, when it comes to MJ news, you're an ass!

When are you going to apologyze for all your lies?

    PENDEJO

  20. 20

    Trashy.

  21. 21

Ya think! People never cease to amaze me. This is how it should have been done in the first place!

RIP Michael go with the Angels.

  22. 22

Gawd this has been a very depressing week. I wonder if they are going to have a viewing at the staple center or if its just going to be Al Sharpton speaking, irritating the crap out of everyone???

  23. 23

YAYYYYYYYYYY! Jackson family= still TACKY… juss a lil less now! YAY!

  24. 24

    Re: Modesto
really? how bout you do that instead!!!

  25. 25

no charge for a funeral, what a novel idea

  26. 26

In cash strapped L.A this circus is beyond ridiculous and at the expense of the tax payers.

  27. 27

Am I the only one who thinks MJ would be mortified at having a public viewing. He wanted to be so private, yet they are going to put his body on display for everyone to see. Wrong, just wrong!

  28. 28

    luv 2/the family…
    hez krozzed,
    which meanz
    hez now ourz 2/have
    4/realllllllllllllllllllllll♥

  29. 29

No profit? This will be a nightmare. They'll be lucky if no one gets trampled to death. Oh, and you can bet there will plenty of t-shirts and CD's for sale.

  30. 30

Re: BetterFasterStronger – lmao, ouch, that hurt.

  31. 31

    Talk about a stampede.

  32. 32

    Re: Modesto
yes, i know… anyone who needs to insult people to prove their point is just irrelevant, and that's what you are. try to use your brain instead!

  33. 33

A freak show in life, A freak show in death. Yuck.

  34. *Jem* says – reply to this

    34

I dont have a good feeling about the "memorial". If this going to be Al Sharpton speaking and entertainers singing, I think MJ fans are going to be disappointed. It just doesnt seem like there is going to be any closure, I think MJ fans want to be able to say goodbye..

  35. 35

hmmm k…..i wanna see a fight 4 just one seat 2 see mj death

  36. 36

It's nice that, after profiting for so long off of Michael's life, the family has decided not to profit off of his death. What a caring, loving group.

  37. 37

good! his fans deserve that for being with him and supporting him through all his troubles and times off need

  38. 38

    Re: BetterFasterStronger

Here here! I cannot believe this guy, one day besmirching Jackson, the next riding on his death. Without an apology Hilton is not only unbelievable, but rather tacky.
